    Getting back into the game

I think Stinger has the link for the overhaul kit on his site. I think it is from northern Auto Parts but I can't remember for sure. As for an n/a head they do have a diff combustion chamber shape (can be changed with a die grinder) and would need the turbo valves. I would say go for the...

    From 5.0 to 2.3T

Really it is not that bad of a swap, you can use the 5.0 harness, just re-pin it and cut out one half of the injector harness. Easier would be to swap in a 2.3 harness, but it would not have to be done. the fuel lines would need to be re-routed/modified as the 5.0 hooks at the front right of...

    reviving a dead car

I personally would shoot a small amount of oil down the spark plug holes, crank it over to build some oil pressure, change the oil, and dump a couple cans of heet/fuel stabilizer in the tank. when I bought my 65 I did this and it fired right up. The gas in it's tank was no joke 10 years old.

Boosting and shifting sooner than I thought

wierdest Optioned car I ever had was an 88 Vert. Bought it from the orig owner, it had a power top, manual windows, no cruise, manual locks, and no a/c, and a 2.3/5spd combo.. Very odd for a vert I thought.

Boosting and shifting sooner than I thought

The Power Lock/manual window thing was an option package. My 87 is like that, and I have a few Ford Brochures about it. You got a/c, polycasts instead of hubcaps, and pwr Locks. Odd combo if you ask me, but I do like a car that weighs 2900 with me in it :)

Ugh Spelling, please take up a hobby of spelling, I get a headache trying to read this stuff! I have one friend in the hospital right now, and another one out but in bad shape due to a similar "bout of fun". 115 down a back road near their apartments. Throw in a bit of loose gravel, a...

    If anyone could be interested

Yeah the 3500 was geared towards the big gun Arca head. If you are putting down big #'s that's the ticket. For the levels most any of us will ever see the d-port is more than adequate.

    If anyone could be interested

Considering the sheer numbers of 302/351 guys to 2.3 enthusiasts it is much more common for the 8 guys to have more/cheaper choices. And Considering Esslinger is not a huge company Owned By Summit or others, I find it totally understandable that a Higher Price will be paid for quality parts...

    If anyone could be interested

One head for an engine that is not mainstream, and there are not 500 companies building heads for. So Honestly I do not see 3500 as being overpriced for an aluminum head for a 2.3.
