    I think 2002 was the height of standard features (could be wrong). My '02 is a Deluxe with no options whatsoever, and it came with both t/c and abs standard. Anyway, its nice to have but not essential if you don't. Just be careful when the weather gets bad, and you'll be fine.

    If no button, then you don't have it. Hmmm....hadn't realized that it was an option for 2004. Ford's really de-optioning the Mustang pre-2005, eh? For racing, performance it's better to turn it off. Use it in bad weather mainly. :nice:

    It depends on how you define a "classic". It's frequently defined as a car that's worth more in real terms in the future than it is now. By that standard, it's unlikely that any current Mustang will acheive classic status. There are just too many of them, without any significant variation...

    Both shorties and long tubes will give you better sound, but only the long tubes will give you any noticeable gain on a N/A car. As I understand it, the shorties don't really help much as the stock manifolds are actually pretty good. Either are very tough to install on the 4.6s...take a look...

    I'd say if it's not a huge gouge, then just live with it. I have some minor scratching on my wheels from doing the same thing, and it doesn't really bug me (now anyway, swore up a storm when I did it originally). After all, cars are meant to be driven and used, and with that comes the dings...

    As has been said, I think the best rule of thumb for an stock car is to use the lowest octane level that doesn't give you detonation. I usually run 87, with an occasional tank of 89 (I occasionally get pinning at high, sustained speed when hitting the gas in 5th).
