    Has anyone ever noticed the similarities...

    I saw one with a Stalker (I think) bodykit and a Cobra R type wing. :confused: ...I had to look twice to verify it was Pontiac. Edit: I think it was a Grand Am though.

    Smog pump bypass???

    I'm leaving mine all on for now... maybe RYC CUKR has them since he took them off. The new belt 905k6 is a little too long on my car.... the tensioner only has about 1/8" left to move... I'm going back right now and get a 895k6 which should be just right.

    OK.... I am going to leave everything in place for now and get a shorter belt to bypass the smog pump so it won't turn. I will cap the small pipe on the H-Pipe and clamp the smog tube back on so it won't flop around. I guess this will be OK and stop that noise since it will be blocked..... any...

    Got the leaks fixed... Just welded the H-Pipes in the center where they connect together. No way will a u-clamp keep it from leaking. Guess thats the disadvantage with 2-piece H-pipes. Got them from Jegs and they fit good.

    Not clear on this ..... If I just get the shorter belt so the smog pump doesn't turn and leave everything else hooked up, is that OK? And, I can plug the hose from the H-Pipe or would that be necessary to keep the exhaust from blowing back into the hose? I thought I would plug the hose...

    H- Pipe install (?)

    I gotta find a way to fix the leaks at the front flange to header pipe, and line up the tail pipes. Hopefully they just need tightened some more, but was afraid of breaking the stud. Otherwise, guess I'll have to try a gasket.

    Just did that yesterday. I installed the driver side first then connected them. DON'T TIGHTEN ANYTHING until the end. BUT....mine still leakes like crazy and for some stupid reason it pulled my pass. side tip up and in. :nonono: I gotta go monday and try and fix all that.

    I just had O/R H-pipes installed, and they leak also at flanges to header pipes. Did you get yours fixed? Do you have to put in gaskets or whats the best way to stop the leak?

    Which hits harder/better, two 10's or one 12?

    Depends on the speaker. He probably hits harder because ALL his power goes to ONE sub. MTX is a little better too. 10s will hit harder and shorter, and 12s will deliver a deeper longer hit I believe.
