    Dyno'd 96 Cobra

I don't think there is any bolt on only, non intake B headed Cobra making 330rwhp. Even with aftermarket cams and an intake you are looking around 340-350ish w/o port work.I would be very leary about his numbers because you can inflate a dyno number on the dyno.

    Dyno'd 96 Cobra

I don;t know about 330rwhp. That is well above what everyone is making. In the other thread I told you what you can do to get over 300, and I think 315ish is very doable being your engine is strong, but 330, I don't know.

    long tube ??

Some have done it both ways. On both my 4v's I had LT's in, the k member was dropped.

    96 COBRA 300HP?

That is very very strong for those mods.

    96 COBRA 300HP?

Yes and your 2V had more rwtq(many do in stock form too) than a stock 4V which is why it tends to get down the 1/4 quicker. The B head 4V has less torque in stock form and the same rwhp as your old 2V. However, the 4V relies on the higher breathing hp to get the job done. That is why the C head...

    96 COBRA 300HP?

A bolt on 2v is going to be faster than a stock 96-98 4V with drivers being equal. Your time is very good for a stock 4V despite what four six said.

    96 COBRA 300HP?

The 99/01 Cobra and Mach 1 have better heads/intake than a B head Cobra(96-98) and the Mach has a better powerband than the 99/01 Cobra due to the different cams. Both cars make more power in stock form than a B head Cobra.

    96 COBRA 300HP?

That is true. That is why I also stated that a 4.30 or a 4.56 gear will certainly make up for that little bit of loss. The Mach is a different engine(different heads/intake and cams) so it is irrelevant to the topic.

    96 COBRA 300HP?

Yep, but it also cost a lot more for a vortech and set it up correctly too.

What year Cobra? My 97 went 13.8@101 bone stock.

    96 COBRA 300HP?

The short runner intake is where the intake runners are shortened. With the IMRC deletes removed the Intake Manifold Runner Control butterflies are gone and new spacers are put in their placed. Of course you need a tune for this as well, otherwise you will get a CEL and not maximize the...

    96 COBRA 300HP?

The short runner intake w/ imrc deletes and tune is what will put you over. All the bolt ons you can have including Lt's will get you around 295ish. The intake and tune is what will help. There are a few that have a very similar combo of what I listed and making over 300 rwhp and around the 315...

    96 COBRA 300HP?

96-98 Heads are B heads 99+ are the C heads aka tumble port design. The gears won;t help you in gaining rwhp, if anything they can hurt you. The list in my previous post is what will get you to 300 rwhp.

    96 COBRA 300HP?

Full bolt ons including longtubes, o/r mid pipe, pullies, etc with a short runner intake with imrc deletes and a tune will get around 300-310 rwhp. You don't need cams nor heads. My old 97 with a K&N and off road midpipe w/ 4.30's I made 273/263 at the tires.

Next mods for a 99 Cobra?

I had 4.10's in my 99 and 4.30's in my 97 and the 4.30's definitely were the way to go. I wish I went 4.56's.

    Trans AM

Are you basing this data you talk about off your experience or is it a known fact that can be substantiated with facts? Because the way I see it, it goes both ways. I have seen just as many bad drivers in an F-Body and in a Mustang. This weekend at Richmond Dragway which is close to sea level, I...

If you are going with a Panhard bar, there is no sense keeping the UCA's. You should install a Torque Arm with it.

    97 Cobra Headers?

I loved my LT's. I definitely felt a huge low and midrange gain. The install wasn't too bad. I ran flowtechs for a few years without any leaks or issues. Still able to drop the trans if needed too. Plus the car sounded sick as hell when you got on it too:D Again do not focus on the peak power...
