    A piece of info, my wife has a 99 cougar 2.5l. I put on the irridium plugs on her car just to see how they were but( I also putnew motorcraft wires on it ), after 8,000 km's on the car I noticed a miss, I pulled the plugs and found that the gaps were out some were out buy ten thou.
