    same exact thing happened to me in my last car like...6 times i think. after it happened once or twice i messed up the 3rd member and it wouldnt stop happening until i got a new 3rd memeber. make sure everything else is ok before it happens agian

    he has a 428 cj cam with what i believe is stock springs. the car was running like a bat outta hell then boom...it blew. also the middle pushrod in the top pic is bent so badly it wont come out of the head :(

    yeah...i read about those copo camaros.....all aluminium 427 4 speed with nothing but the bare essentials......and they still ran mid 14's......even with polyglass tires thats sad. rare and expensive cars though...i wouldnt mind having one.....so i could sell it and buy 2 boss 429s

    Reving your 289's

    my 289 turned like...6500 all day...but it was a k code and had solid lifters. my first 289 revved about 5200ish then power dropped, and that was stock a code with a fresh rebuild. both has 4 speeds though.
