    Cobra to fast for daily driver?

    Gas prices... not too bad... if you ease it around town you should get 18 mpg... I just got back from chicago.... cruiz set on 80 all the way there... and 80 all the way back... 350 miles each way... 25 miles per gallon each time... I will take that any day :nice:

    I don't think this is on all of the cars... If I am thinking correctly... this is refering to the ticking that some, no where near all, cobra's have... anyone else have any light to shed???

    Nope... it's not... I have a B&M ripper shifter that I am putting in real soon... most folks don't like them.. but I do... and Ford does since they are going into the new 05 GTs....

    would the x pipe from my 01 cobra fit on my buddys 1992 mustang gt?

    281 4v block/exhaust manifolds.... vrs the 92 GT's 302..... you would have to cut the stock h-pipe's connecting flanges and cut the x-pipe... then weld the 92's to the x-pipe to make it work... but it won't look clean...     I haven't had any real problems from mine and I am at 32k miles since I just got back from my trip... I drive a lot... I love sight seeing and the Cobra is just so fun to take :) My bushings were replaced on the right front wheel section, not sure which ones. They were making grinding sounds...

    About to buy a '97 Cobra, few questions about what to look for...

    Just look under the car, around the engine, and rear end for leaks... look under the hood, on the hood liner, to check for any oil.... this would be signs to let you know if the engine is blowing oil or not... definately do the test drive... get on it a bit and left off the gas while keeping it...
