most of the time i end up using the shim form the old pinion and never have had a problem when doing gears sometimes yeah you may have to do some adjusting to ge the right depth by adding shims, but its rare specially using the FRPP ones
if its stock i highly doubt it has a tune.........otherwise you would have gotten the programer with the car or somewhere in that area.......on ur decel cant really help u there as my old 03' gt was auto and my current is a 5.0L heavily modded :D
yeah dont know how good those bottom ends are cause i know these 2 brothers one owns a STi and the other a Evo both grenaded there bottom ends after a turbo upgrade and a quite a bit of other mods......but they where seeking the most power out of there stock bottom end.......so it's like any...
i picked up an issue of 5.0 mustang few weeks ago has an article on the new "coyote" motor was very pleased to hear how they developed this motor and how they where able to put up such numbers with the dispalcement
kinda and you be surprised when u see how fast it gets filled up with oil.....when i installed my catch can on my 03' GT i was draining it like every month
well if u are planning on doing future mods and/or considering a S/C then go with what will benefit u later..............but if staying N/A then 4.10's not that bad if you stay off the throttle :D
its more about having a good tone than just being obnoxiously loud..........if it's loud but with a nice tone to it :nice: otherwise :notnice:......
in my old 03' gt i went through 3 midpipes bassani O/R X-pipe to a catted one to a O/R prochamber all mated to a bassani catback
