    Try reaching in to some of the newer 4cyls plugs with a 3'' extension. Ive used a 1/4'' drive with an adapter to put in and take out plugs. This way i cant over torque them unless im trying to hard. Ive never had any issues. However... I wont do without the torque limiting extensions for...

    Wrapping electrical tape around the bottom is common if you dont want the added height of an isolator.

    Some beat VC's someone picked up at a swap meet... Repaired and coated. Still need to touch up a few small spots. The lettering was done in dark silver textured sparkle to match the intake. The rest was done in carbide black textured to match the Vortec+acc brackets i have already coated for...

    The drain plugs torque rating is tight... If i ever get to the point when im under a car with a torque wrench someone kick me. I just replace my drainplugs every once in awhile to be safe.

    I loved m y 1999 saturn as long as you feed them oil they will run forever. I hate nissans, my aunt is actually giving me a 2002 altima. Im gonna drop a new motor in it and sell it (blown head gasket, 210k on the car) I dont want a v6 either. I want 33+ MPG

    Im going to go look at a commuter car tomorrow as a back up for my focus. Found a 1995 saturn SL2 with 63k on it for $1500... They are known to burn oil like crazy though. All the 1.9L cars do.

    Can you actually drive it in second gear?? If so then the gear is most likely ok syncros cause grinding going in to gear.
