    I'm really excited about the new Stang as well. I traded my '98 GT Vert last summer in on a '01 Navigator for my wife knowing that I would buy a new Stang in '06. I'd love to say I will be getting a Cobra, but with all the info I have seen and heard, I believe it will be in the 45K range...

    I voted undecided at this point. I think I like the look of it spoiler-less, but the only thing I hate about that is that it sometimes looks like a cheaper V6. I too am liking the duckbutt spoiler. It looks more true to the era of the original. Eric

    Considering the retro look, I think it would be a crime not to offer the Bullitts from the factory. I've always liked them, but they would even look more at home on the new body style. I'll take mine in chrome. :nice: I'm still undecided on the car color itself. Eric

    I couldn't have said it better. Knowing that the SVT will be competing with the likes of the M3 and the Vette, I would expect a mid-40K price tag which will put it out of a lot of people's price range, including myself. Realistically I can't afford to spend more than low 30's on my next Stang...

    Ford said it will be near 500HP. So, I would guess at least 450. I also think that means it will easily be over $40K and close to Vette pricing. We'll see. Eric

    Well, my last Stang was a GT and I always resented the fact that it was not a Cobra so I will not go that route again. If the Cobra is reasonable, that is the route I will go, but will most likely have to be happy with a "special edition" model (i.e. Boss, Bullitt, Shelby, etc.).

    It's going to have to be under 20K if they don't won't to lose a lot of that market share. They sell a butt load of V6's and can't afford to lose the business. Generally those that buy the V6's are not diehard Mustang fans and price will play a big part whether they buy it or not. Eric
