Help Picking Out Gauges and Instrument Bezel for My '65

Speed huts are gorgeous, and made by amazingly nice people. Good luck getting anything from JME. 3 guys within the last 3 weeks have said they have had problems getting them after months. 2 have canceled. Blown, those look an awful lot like speed huts.

    Aluminum Parking Brake Handle

I think you were looking for my thread. Got deleted and got a warning. I got permission from one mod, and another didn't think it was OK lol. Mine were a little nice than those I think. Not an aluminum copy of the original. Different shape all together.

BUY ANOTHER SENDING UNIT !! Those things are inaccurate, and unreliable. Don't care who you get them from.

Fabricating a stainless efi tank for my 1965 mustang

Press brake ? Damn cheater lol :D Yeah I learned by just turning on a dinosaur of a synro 250. Luckily it was setup for Al at the time. When I switched to DC the fun began. Didn't know anyone to tell me to go to HF start only lol. Took me a while to figure that out. LOVE the dynasty's. Would...

Fabricating a stainless efi tank for my 1965 mustang

Yeah, I've really grown to love Al in the past year or so. Bet that 10 was just tons oh fun bending. Have a car here I'm anxious to put 6063 exhaust on to see the difference in weight lol. The tank's probably a little heavy, but won't oxidize nearly as fast.

374 iirc on the cid. Bored and stroked 302, made 470+ rwhp on pump. Nasty little car.

steer me in the right direction (engines)

Here,....mabye. But over at TTF for sure. My new heap. Another ugly coupe Haven't touched it since about Jan. Too busy and I bought that Shelby. Between those car payments and proto typing it, there is a lot of time and money going into that turd lol I may use the rear for the 67 for it. Guys...

steer me in the right direction (engines)

I didn't hate it that much  Mine has been pretty bad. 2in headers. P/S, AC, 3.5 in DP's. Even with the shaved towers and sn-95 serp it is still horrible. Only thing worse so far has been the GT500. :(

steer me in the right direction (engines)

Would have been soooo much easier without P/S and having to keep the sway bar. Hope to hear back from him soon. He was putting my IC in there a few months ago. Was looking for 1k out of a 408 in a 69. Should be tons-oh-fun with a ladder bar though

steer me in the right direction (engines)

Think they/we are talking more of what the stock rotating assembly will take. A stock bottom end and a few psi will get you high tens pretty damn reliably. The block will be the weak point in any short block combination. This is a 351w, 225 heads, power steering rack and pinion, 3in down...

steer me in the right direction (engines)

Nothing wrong with it if your going to apply boost. As long a that engine is build worth a damn it should be fine. Usually 10 psi and a turbo gets you 400rwhp on a stock 5.0. A blower would need a little more boost to do it. Or there is stroker with HCI, but I like boost more personally. A...

steer me in the right direction (engines)

Make sure to call BS on him for jerking you around lol The stock block would get to about 75% of the boost level needed to make that before it pukes it guts out. If your only going for 400 rwhp, save your money and just keep stock crank and rods. Upgrade the rod bolt for S&G's, forged piston's...

    Windage Tray Height

You need such confusion to get it closer to the rod bolts, or to back the tray off for strokers. It's not that hard. Your just nut jamming for adjustable height. Get it within a 1/16 or so to the rod bolts. Those will hit first.

    New guy here.

If your restoring the car, you have to replace 90% that anyways. So, even if you had a V8 to start with and decide on new exhaust, intake, carb, etc, then you would have bought it either way. If the car is straight and minimal rust, I'd keep it. Harder and harder to find a nice one now a days. An...
