Vibration throughout whole car when in D & R

My guess would be lean or a miss if only in gear.

TCP strut rods / coil over, loud popping sound

Have someone bounce the car when you are holding onto the suspension. Found ball joint was bad in one we did. they replaced that for us also. Was a good loud click. Was hard to duplicate though without driving.

Finally got some dyno numbers wanted some input.

Yeah but what they do is way out there. They run a ton pressure and run the cups down to like .009 of preload left. So it's a solid lifter, but hyd for the rules. And they let the valves bounce on the seats, and count on it. Not quite what he wants lol. I've seen link bars lifter come apart at...

convert 2 peice rear main to 1 piece?

If you having problems with a two piece, check to make sure the thing isn't two big. Have seen instance where when you install the seal into the block, then just lay the other side on the crank, the damn thing is too big. I clip about 1/8 of or what ever it needed to make it seat correctly. I...

Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

No you don't have to worry at all. You'll just give it a normal alignment anyways. Only the guys that add camber in the alignment

Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

Yeah I've done both. If it's a street car alignment TCP wins hands down with it's camber gain. If you were to track them, the AJE stuff could have the camber added into the alignment, but that would wear tires on the street. But most I don't think will ever push a car hard enough to know a...

My new heap. Another ugly coupe

Thanx guys. I had a GP for some other headers and R&D on some others and other crap coming up. Just haven't had much time. I stared at it for a while last night trying to get the 3.5 dp's out. The diaper was giving me fits. Just had a core LS1 show up so may be a little while again.

Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

The kit itself should be 2700 iirc. But does come with a rack. Fireman, the TCp stuff is BADDDD. It handles Awesome. Is pricier, but everything about it is top notch from design and welding even down to the powder coating. Money well spent I think.

    Hydroboost on 65 stang w/ T5

Think you could use the stock pump. The hydra boost requires more pressure and volume than stadard pumps that like say, fox bodies had. And the older pumps re higher pressure. Looks fine that way at first glance to me. If you ran the 01 pump also, should be fine for the hydraboost, but if you...

Got an earful for the wife but came in on Sunday for a bit to finish these up. Have to do something or it'll never get done. They've been in a box already back purged and waiting. Just had to find time and motivation.

    347 issues

Brian and Iskwezm are right. The OEM fans are awesome. Zirgo, tried it and didn't work. If you coolant temp is good at idle, but raises when driving, then there is a problem. Cars get warm at idle because of a lack of airflow across the radiator. That is not the case when you drive. If you are...

31" radiators thread - battery relocation mandatory.

That be cool pic is how I cut mine off. Just like that angle. I'm just not sure if I'll be putting it back there. I don't want to cut the core support any more and make is flimsy. But even like that, you'll have a hard time getting it completely filled. You'll need to really tilt the car to once...

31" radiators thread - battery relocation mandatory.

Keep the fill the highest point to make it easiest. Otherwise the system could never be filled completely. Have had to jack up cars from the front and one side sometimes to completely top them off. If you just lower yours a bit, tilting the car would work fine for that. Or the put the fill back...
