Shocks? or Springs? or Shocks and Springs

Go to each side and push the fender down if it goes down more than an inch you need new springs. if you push it down and let go and it doesn't stop new shocks. That's what i've heard at least.

    Spriings Question

Hey guys, I've been trying for a while to try and put together a suspension package for my 66. First and foremost I need to get new springs. I can push my car down at least an inch on every side, and according to suggestions that means that the springs are worn out. Second, i don't think...

    Rolling fenders

Hey guys, I need my fenders rolled. I've called a few body shops and they want 700$ to roll my fenders. I've searched around the forums and came to the conclusion that for me the eastwood fender roller would be the best/safest bet. The problem now is finding a place that has it/ willing to...

    Suspension Question

Hey guys, as some of you may know its time to replace my springs. Shocks seem to be fine, when i push the car down it goes down about 2 inches and when i let go it comes back up instantly, doesn't bounce. This is a daily driver/weekend warrior, completely stock, as for stance, i'd like for 2...

    Speedometer Cable Question

From what i've heard if you're replacing and the housing (the black rubber part around the metal insert) then it should come pre-lubricated. However, i have had one of those and it ended up breaking only 2 months after. It looked like a lack of lubrication. So i'm not sure

    Need some help

For the time being i disconnected the wire that goes to shifter light, i cut it off and wrapped it in electrical tape. it was spliced with instrument light wire. I think the reason the fuse didn't blow was because it got to the switch first. I didn't put a fuse between the lights and the...

    Need some help

So last night i was driving and i stupidly put the car into the lower gear, (automatic) when i did so all the interior lights shorted out, like the instrument panel and the light that is under the shifter. Going to look at a 67 Coupe...

If everything else but that floor plan is ok then 4200 is a decent price. I remember when i was searchin for 67 i couldn't find anything under 13k. The ones that were 13k had just painted over the rust.

    Hello from San Jose NorCal

The Ez kit is available on ebay here and there, i ordered it from a local parts shop. The difference between painless and EZ wiring is that Painless comes with all the terminals crimped and everything done for you; it's practically drop in. Depending on which painless harness you get...

    Hello from San Jose NorCal

My .02 Shop manual: I bought the pdf version of the shop manual on cd for 20$. I got it from National Parts Depot, and the scan quality is really good. Diagrams for wiring u can find online As for wiring, if your not looking to keep it all original i'd go for a generic harness like ez wiring's...

    Rims and tire question

I believe he said air bags, he said the rear shocks were in good shape. he said he was thinking of putting them on and filling them with like 30 psi and it'd be fine. he said it'd be like 190$ It doesn't really bounce, it comes up and stays there. As for when i push it down, i'm pretty sure...
