Best electric fan for daily driven bolt-on car with A/C?

I just picked up a 3.8L Taurus fan and a DCC for my bolt-on daily driver. I think this fan will work just fine right now, and probably even if I add heads and a cam.

    Delta Current Controller

I ordered a Taurus 3.8L electric fan off ebay, and now I am about to order a DCC. Which controller should I order? 35 Ampere, or 60 Ampere? I will be running this fan with a 130 amp alternator.

anyone run 15x7 welds in the rear of their fox?

Nope, I have zero rubbing or wearing issues with my 255/60's. They wear evenly and they have lasted a good amount of miles. So hopefully I could run the 275 Nitto without problems. Should I go with the 275/60 or the 275/50?

Which clutch would work best for me?

I love my Spec Stage 2, but I think a lot of people would consider it too much clutch for daily driving.

    Thumper/TMoss combo up and running!

Do you plan on taking it to the dyno? I would love to see some numbers for that combo. I've always considered Thumper's heads, but I want to know if they are worth the money or not.

anyone run 15x7 welds in the rear of their fox?

I used to run 15x8's with 5.5 BS in the rear with 255/60's, but they rubbed on the tailpipes and quadshocks. Now I run 15x7's with 4.5 BS with 255/60's, and they don't rub at all. Only problem is, I want to run some Drag Radials, but I think 7" rims might be too small for Nittos.

    Ford Aluminum Tri-Pro 302/351-W SB

If you don't mind me asking, how much did these heads run you? I've always thought about going for the cheaper GT-40 route, but I know they will most likely need work, and I don't want to put a bunch of money into iron heads if I could just spend the money on a nice set of aluminums.

    7" Drag Radials

I've been planning on picking up a set of Nitto 555R's for my next set of tires for my 15x7 Welds. I was just checking out the size options for the tires, and the only choices i see are 275/60/15 and 275/50/15. Will these tires even fit on 7" rims? I will shoot myself if I have to get another...

Taurus or Mark VIII Electric Fan

I'm looking into getting an electric fan, and running it with a DCC (http://www.dccontrol.com/index.htm). I know the better (and cheaper) route is to pick up a Taurus 3.8L fan or a Mark VIII fan. I would much rather do this than spend $200 on a Flex-a-lite. So which is a better fan to go...

That package comes with the TFS Stage 1 camshaft, which is excellent from what I hear.

Ford Racing Hood Pin Kit Installation

I've had the FRPP hood pins (stainless steel) for about 9 months... they are now starting to rust. I'm super pissed. But as for the paint, they did not hurt the paint at all.

car all stock..throttle body upgrade worth it?

I agree with this. You might pick up a little power from a MAF on a stock engine, but still I would concentrate on other areas like jaided said.

$1200 for traction mods, what would you buy?

Sounds like you already have a good plan in mind. I would go with those parts too. I actually plan on using those same suspension components not too far down the line. Maybe you should consider some polyurethane bushings if you don't have them already. BTW, what exactly are the benefits of...

    AFR vs. Trickflow cylinder heads

Those are two of the best heads on the market. It definitely depends on the rest of the combo, but you should be happy with either one. If I could save $200, I would definitely go with the TFS heads. Both heads are emissions legal, and neither one should require you to flycut your pistons...
