    BBK intake manifold?

Ok I take that back. Some of you guys have a very keen eye. I didn't notice that the test car had aftermarket heads on it, and I also didn't realize they started with a HO intake on a cobra. Those bastards. I'm definitely going with a performer or TFS intake when I get around to it. Screw BBK...

Is the FMS gt-40 manifold worth the money, is it really that good?????

The GT-40/cobra is a good manifold, but it is old and outdated. There are much better intakes available, and for much cheaper. The GT-40 looks good, but for $599 there are much better choices. The Edelbrock Performer, Performer RPM and RPM II are great intakes and a bit cheaper. For $569 there...

    mac pro-chamber

I think the Prochamber is the best midpipe available. When I had mine, it might not have been as loud as an H, but it was in no way quiet. Not even close. Now I have a catted X and it's a bit quieter than the prochamber but not much.

    BBK intake manifold?

The December issue of 5.0 M&SF did a dyno test with the BBK intake on a stock 93 cobra. With the stock 5.0 HO intake and stock TB, it made 233 hp and 289 torque. With the BBK intake and 75mm TB, it made 265 hp and 296 torque. That's 32 hp and 7 ft lbs torque. Seems like a good intake. I'd...

Man, those are some sweet #'s. I agree with those guys.. bring the FP down a bit and see what happens.

    Need lower quarter mile times

Definitely look into an intake, but first I would go with some LCA's and subframes.

    Is Supercharging a 93 safe???????

Well I would hope it's been safe since you've got a 92. You didn't put hyper pistons in it did you?

Going to the track, $200 left.. what else?

I don't think you'll need to worry about a helmet, as you have to run a 13.99 or faster to be required to wear one. At least that's how it is at my local track. Could be different at yours. Anyways, subframes would be a great addition and well under $200.

    Good enough for 300RWHP?

I wouldn't expect 300 at the wheels with just 6 psi and an intake. Maybe if you get your heads ported or get bigger heads you can hit 300 but with stock heads it's hard to do.

Is this all I need to fix my yellow headlights?

BTW, what do you guys use to seal your headlights? Mine keep getting condensation inside and i'm sick of it, so I need to re-seal them. Can i use RTV sealant? Or do i need the clear silicone? And which part do you seal exactly?

    year for adjustable cable?

It's not that they "blow" so often, even though they can over time. It's just that they stretch and they frey, causing the cable to break over time, and possibly frying your clutch in the process. I've already had to deal with this, and I will never use an adjustable cable again.

    year for adjustable cable?

And exactly how would you mess up the installation of a clutch cable? Adjustable cables blow...

    need a new clutch

Right-o! I couldn't be happier with my Spec Stage 2. Very light pedal and it can hold up to 520 ft/lbs of torque. :nice: I don't have any experience with centerforce so i can't comment on that. But I have used a King Cobra and it was nice, but i like my Spec much better.

Is this all I need to fix my yellow headlights?

Before you go buy new ones, what have you tried to clean them with? I've heard good things about Meguiar's Plastix. I've never used it but it's supposed to work like a charm on yellow headlights.

    Best Aluminum cylinder head/Intake combo

Yeah i know what you're saying, i've just never thought of a cobra intake as a bottleneck. But then again on an engine like that, it's probably comparable to a stock intake on a stock engine.

How much does a Fox body weigh?

Yeah 3255-3300 sounds about right for a full weight GT. I really want to get my car on a scale but I don't know of any around my area. There is a truckstop scale on the side of the freeway but i don't wanna go near it. Truckers scare the hell out of me.
