supercharger oil line install help ASAP, i have no car

Not sure about using the different plug locations for a drain, but the little brass fitting in your hand is the oil inlet fitting. It has a mesh filter in it and screws into the upper part of the unit and the oil feed line that comes off the block by the oil pressure sending unit attaches to it...

    hood recall?

I had it done on mine years ago. Didn't really notice what they did until last year when I went to pull the blanket off and saw the 2 areas in the front they cut out. It really stands out because the area behind the cutouts is white-ish

I know I saw it but can't find it!!!! (built in woofers in rear seat delete)

I used to run mine that way. I have a carpeted board that's cut to fit from the trunk side up against the rear seatback frame and I just drilled a couple holes through that metal framing around it and put some black bolts/nuts to secure it. The seats cleared them in the up position, and it...

Did you guys see "Pinks" Wed night on speedchannel?

yup, i think it's a bit stupid, but entertaining to watch none the less. Oh, and it was a Nova on this past weeks show with the mustang, not a falcon.

    Cam shaft Lube hurt blower?

I only put cam lube on the cam when installing it into the block. It helps protect the bearrings. I've never "broken in" a roller cam for a period of time though. As for the lube messing with the blower, don't worry about it. I've started freshly built motors with the blower installed...

    How hot is too hot?

I've never had a problem with the stock radiator and cooling even though it's only a 1 core. I have heads/cam/intake/longtubes/s-trim and the car never goes past 210 (while sitting in traffic) and most the time it runs 190ish

Cutting wheel studs for wheel spacers

Another idea would be to replace all your rear studs with 3" ones and knock the studs out of the spacers and just put the spacers on over your 3" axle studs and then mount your wheels on the same studs. I know it involves replacing all the studs either way. I'd probably just look for wider...

yup. It's not ideal but you'll be fine. Many do it all the time

Best method to achieve a reliable 500HP on a stock 5.0 Block?

And my point is not everybody can afford to go out and pay $25-$30k on a cobra, but they can afford $5-$10k. And yes, I have raced cobra's at the track. I've owned my '95 since Oct '94, it has 54k on the odometer, and put out mid 400hp to the rear wheels with stock heads and cam and S-trim...

Best method to achieve a reliable 500HP on a stock 5.0 Block?

well even $10,000 is a lot cheaper than a newer cobra in my book. Plus, after that much money spent on newer/updated motor and drivetrain you'll be able to blow away most cobras out there

Best method to achieve a reliable 500HP on a stock 5.0 Block?

500 RWHP or at the crank?? There's quite a bit difference there. 500hp at the crank shouldn't be much of a problem as stated above with a power adder. A lot depends on the tunning. A bad tune will result in cracked rings/pistons/etc. 500 at the wheels is getting into the limits of the...

    Header Bolts and Gasket Question.

get some of the Breslin locking header bolts. They're much easier than the Stage 8 (no washers or c-clips to mess with). Copper gaskets should be fine, but I like the Earls Performance ones with the replacable graphite inserts personally.
