    Man those 140 speedos are expensive. Unfortuantely with 3.73s to get above the stock 85 mph limit your gonna be pulling some good rpms.... Hope it installs good for ya. Isnt there another gear in the tranny that can effect speedo output? Joe E.

    I think Im ordering mine Monday. Im just tired of my stock, yes stock shifter. Im going with the red handle too. If I need a shorter throw Ill just order the other handle later. I hope this shifter lives up to the hype! I think it just might... ttyl Joe E.

    The spacers we are refering too are not the simple ring with holes on it. Those are the kind from like Pep Boyz that I wanna get on my stangs rear. The above is a unit that you bolt to your axle using the stock studs. Then the spacer has new lugs that you actually bolt the wheels too. So...

    I know there are the BW T5s and etc so i just wasnt positive. Thanks for clearing it up. I also think its too cool looking to boot over. Not sure how itd look with a boot not covering the other stuff, but maybe if you could get a real short boot just to go up to about 1/3 the shifter...

    Rick, what are the lengths of the factory studs? I am having my rear gears swapped out for 3.73s over Xmas and though about putting the 3in studs in my axles and running a 1/4in spacer to help clearence my 9in wheel from my quad shock. Thanks Joe E.

    I had a truck with a spacer like that on the rear. I ran thread loc on it for a couple years and never had a problem. Id use it in a heart beat. Just alittle more help to keep things tight. Good Luck. Joe E.

    I have Ford Cs on my 85gt. I also run lakewoods 50/50s on the rear. Work fine for me. A cheeper alt to the high priced shocks. I hope to run tokicos someday tho. ttyl Joe E.
