    It's missing a few things and needs some work - but that is a great price. I don't think I have room for another one.

    You don't have any 30 lb injectors, I think that's what was in the Series 1-2, they are red, laying around do you? I lost the tip off one of mine - When I took them out, one was missing - I guess it burnt up in the cyl.

    It seems to have more response, the boost seems to be the same at 6lbs, but there is more air flow - and best of all, this one can be serviced. I haven't had it dyno yet - so we'll see then any real differences.

    The Series 2 is much better - and yes, when I lifted off the old SC and installed the new one, the problem was solved.

    The Series 1 is sealed - maintenance free, the Series 2 had an oil fill/change/plug added to the front. The front pully bearings went bad also, you might check that. Series 2 is on the left

    George, Hmmm let's see - 2 Saleens, I guess you qualify as having a "Saleen Garden" - a "Saleen Farm" is 2-10, over 10 is a "Saleen Ranch".

    I had mine powdercoated too - now on the car over 50,000 miles still look good and shiny - The white was a Bright White, no code for it, but if you paint, just use the paint code on the car, Performance White, Crystal White Clearcoat or what ever they called it. If you drive it much...

    Thanks for the reply, but I don't seem to have that hex head/allen fill plug - I was told I need to take the SC off and open it up and fill it or something like that - not sure about all of that though.

    I have a 2000 with a Series 1 SC with 50,000 miles on it and the SC is rattling. I can't find an oil fill plug on it, has anyone every changed or added oil to a Series 1? Any other thoughts as to what it might be?

    Are you talking about the light weight hood that was an optional hood on the S281? I have 60,000 miles on mine, still intact. However, when I first got the car the dealer broke (2) of them trying to shut the hood before they found out I had a broken headlight bucket and the hood couldn't latch.
