Driving with the TCS turned off

Is there any kind of indicator light that lets you know when it's in action? The previous generation cars had a green spinning wheel that lights up.

    Booze Brothers Racing Mustang

Yeah this is how we all get treated until they sit down with us and talk about pricing/financing. :D

What kind of springs are you using? Cas that looks perfect.

Have lowering springs? Who did it

If you're dead set on paying someone to do the job, $380 sounds about right. That's what most people in my area are paying.

    GT springs vs. GT/CS springs

Yeah mine has naked headrests as well.

    GT springs vs. GT/CS springs

So I have a 08 GT/CS and I just read that these cars have a 1.5" lower ride height than the GTs. Are they talking about the decreased ground clearance due the the front air dam, or does my car actually have different springs than the ones of GTs? If the latter is true, does this mean my ride...

    PICS OF MY STANG

If it was my car I would lose the blackout tails and lower it. But other than that, your car looks very clean for its age. :nice:

    14.618 @ 3192 ft (DA)

So how did you get that number? I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just curious for future reference.

Tips for running at the track?

Did you lose/gain any torque by doing this?

Would you care to explain then, why guys with drag radials lower their pressures to ~25 or less psi?

    Rally Gauges

That looks awesome. I never cared for the A pillar gauges because they're played out by the ricer crowd and I'd imagine they'd obstruct my view. It's about time someone came up with these for the S197. I'd like a set of oil psi, oil temp, and water temp gauges please. :D

OK but what's the elevation in Houston? I bet its lower than 1000 ft. You do have a point there since 8" wide Mickey Thompsons will grip better than 10" wide Sumitomos.

It's never a good idea to make personal attacks to a moderator.

    I'm embarrassed

To the OP: I just wanna reinforce the point made earlier about how the SHO comes with twin turbos and our cars are NA. And the fact that you wrote off all the cars in post #16 because they have "wings and are featured in fast & the furious movies" just shows how ignorant you are because those...

A Friend just got a GT500... how fast?? compare to Blown GT??

At my local track a guy with a GT500 ran a 13.9. So the question is whether or not the driver can utilize the car to his advantage. You can claim that *insert name of magazine* ran a 12.xx but it's meaningless if you can't match it. And you shouldn't make HP figures be the deciding factor on...

    14.618 @ 3192 ft (DA)

I don't think I'm understanding the meaning of DA correction. The only thing I corrected was the elevation. My track is at 1002 ft but w/ the 88 degree air, 65* dew point, and 60% humidity, the calculator said 3k feet of DA. So when people talk about DA, is the ET corrected as well? Because...
