    Maybe there is a problem with the stock quadrant/cable setup.. Go for the SPEC with a new cable/quadrant/firewall adjuster setup. You can probably put it in yourself. I did my own with 4 jackstands and a Jack and basic hand tools. I dont have much mechanical skill-I have problems changing...

    True blast media is better. Eastwood or some place like that sells it on the internet. Or Auto Body supply stores carry it. Silica Carbide blast media is good for most rust/paint removal.

    A/T KICKDOWN

    Thanks! My car is a 67.. 289 2V.. I dont think my car has one. There is nothing attached to the accelerator linkage except the clip that holds the rod into the carburetor. Im trying to restore it myself..Just needed some help to see if I need to purchase one or not.
