    +1 on what Rob said. Take an old 3 spd handle and grind flats on it, drill holes and wallah. Sometimes you just gotta work with what you have. I would use a grade 8 bolt if you're planning on banging the gears hard. But that might cost over $2.00. :rlaugh:

    They don't appear to make 5" gauges that fit nicely in the speedo and tach openings on the 67's. The largest they make is 4". But man, they do make some great looking gauges.

    Does anyone have a good source for info on airbag trouble codes. Mine appears to be flashing 33. Which is an open circuit on the passenger side airbag, 90's are not equipped with a passenger side airbag. :shrug: Thanks in advance.

    I noticed in other pics the trans/driveshaft tunnel was removed. Are you just using it now for fitment? Also, using sheet metal screws is a real good idea. Not only do they pull things together tightly, when you pull them out and rosette weld the panel to the frame it ensures good penetration.

    Borgeson steering with Shelby Pitman arm ?

    I drove a 70 MACH 1 yesterday that was equipped with the Borgeson PS box. It seemed to have a real tight turning radius. The longer Shelby Pitman Arm and Idler might cause it to be even tighter resulting in the tires rubbing inside the wheelhouse.

    Thats the thing with this car, it has the factory console and the owner doesn't want to cut it up, or go hidden. Have you had the chance to listen to a CAS with a similar speaker set up to make a comparison? You did say the quality of sound is good with your Retro unit. Is it better than a CAS?

    I like the old look, but not the vintage sound. I have a cheepo $100 Sony in my 90GT and it sounds great. I just figure if you're going to spend $250 + for the old look you should also get good rich sound.
