How do I remove the window trim?

It is good to find a shop who won't take advantage of you. Finding one in your back yard is a bonus. Looking forward to pics of the finished product.

    1965 Mustang rust repair

I was asking because with a straight car you can make a jig out of your dolly to keep things where they go. When stuff is bent it aint as easy because stuff aint where it goes. So it involves a lot more measuring and hammering and bending and forming, even just to get the new replacement parts...

    AC/Heater Box Refurb??

There are two attaching points on the main heater/evaporator box that hold it to the fire wall along with the attachment at the upper right side by the cowl vent. The drain hole is on the left forward area of the case and that might be the part that is broken off of yours. The case to fire wall...

How do I remove the window trim?

Sorry I missed the Party, when I'm planning on removing the glass, I cut the rubber seal with a box cutter under the trim moldings and pull it out with some needle nose pliars. It makes it alot easier to get the trim removal tool in there to release the clips.

    1965 Mustang rust repair

Question, would you rather take a car that is rusty but nice and straight and replace cancered out panels, frame sections and bracing with new steel, or take a car that was punched in the ass and shows signs of tweaked frames, shock access holes that are taco'd out and misaligned panels and...

    68 Mustang over-heating after upgrades

Pull a couple plugs. It they are light brown then the jetting is probably okay, if they are chalky white it's lean, blask is rich. I have never heard the term "the distributor is chasing itself". Disconnect the vacuum advance and see if it runs cooler. From what you have discribed, it sounds...

    68 Mustang over-heating after upgrades

I have used this one in a few cars that run 390's and one that has a 427 Roush Windsor engine with no problems. Scott Drake Store - 2-Row Hi-Po Aluminum Radiator (Big Block)

    fan mount

If you want to risk damaging your Radiator, or worse having the Fan fall off and God knows what after that happens, go ahead and use them. I don't even like using them on trans coolers.

    68 Mustang over-heating after upgrades

Over heating at idle is an air flow problem, over heating at speed is a water flow problem. Also, I would recommend a three row radiator and if you don't have a shroud, install one. Or a good pusher fan will help. If you add an electric fan it is advisable to add a higher output alternator. 230...

    Nuts

Thanks! I talked to a Representative from Scott Drake and he told me they were discontinued. I knew that if I posted a thread here that you, Mr 2+2GT, would have a source for me. :nice: I will contact them tomorrow. The only difference is the one I pictured has machine threads and the one you...

    wiring diagram for 1968

If you really want to see that needle move try disconnecting #655 from the relay and extend it inside the car and connect it to the power supply at the ign switch.

    wiring diagram for 1968

The Alt gauge measures differences in current flow. One wire #654 is spliced to the alternator Batt feed and the other #655 connects to the Batt post in the Starter relay (solenoid). When the alternator charges there is a higher current signal at the Alt then there is at the solenoid. The gauge...

By closer to the 67' Shelby's I ment that they use the shelby hood, scoops and the driving lights are in the upper grill instead of the Eleanor scoops and the lights down in the valence. Aside from that the similarities are none. They are basically a souped up modified Mustang, and the Eleanors...
