    1971 Mach1 Restomod

Now you know what one looks like with the Vinyl top. Thats pretty cool. You might not be able to find original moldings, but if you go to an unholstry shop that does a lot of Vinyl tops and Convertables, they might have a suitable universal molding. I know a guy with a 67' GTO who had a top put...

    Droooooool...

Classic Recreations teamed up with Shelby to build those cars shortly after Shelby had their falling out with Unique Performance. They are a much closer reproduction of the 67' Shelby than the Eleanors were. The top shelf ones ($200,000.00) have a MustangII front suspension, a triangulated 4 bar...

GT-350 Rocker Stripes on a Coupe

I like them on a coup, you could leave the GT 350 out and do a solid stripe or run the factory GT stripes. They are thinner and look a little cleaner to me.

    O/D swap shifter

I just thought of something. My friend has an 86' 5.0 with an AOD. his factory shifter only has 1st, 2nd and OD So the original shifter might work easily if you have one or can find one.

    Frustrating Problem

If it's sparking and the engine is not starting, the problem is not ignition. Stalling or no start conditions are almost always fuel or primary ignition problems (an electrical problem between the ignition switch and the low volt side of the coil, the points or module) Misfiring conditions are...

cable or hydraulic clutch for T-5

If you are converting from a 4 spd to the T5 use the stock linkage and get the adaptor to mount the T5 to the stock bell housing. Like 2+2 said, the car could burn down and the stock linkage would still be there. Just rebuild the pedal assembly with roller bearings. If you insist on not using...

I like the Magnums. I know they aint Mach 1's but they are both 72's. The Green one has 14's and the blue one has 15's <a href="http://s1081.photobucket.com/albums/j355/ejkustomotive/mustangs%202/?action=view&amp;current=P1010281.jpg" target="_blank"><img...

    Full Frontal

Try buying a case of concentrated lemon juice, not the frozen stuff, but the stuff that comes in a bottle. Mix it about 50-50 with water and let the small parts soak in it for a week. They will be bare metal. A friend of mine filled up one of those plastic kiddie pools and soaked a rusty...

    Frustrating Problem

There is an old saying that goes "If it feels like it's electrical, it's fuel. If it feels like fuel, it's electrical." Have you tried pulling a spark plug wire and testing for spark when it dies?

A friend has an 06' GT that only has 7000 miles on it. He told me he was driving it and got on it a little then the ABS, Traction Controll and Low break fluid lights are now on. Does anyone have any suggestions on what it might be. The Dealership is trying to sell him a MC, ABS module and RR...

    Installed Derale Electric Fan

It you buy an Alternetor for an 82' GT, they put out 75 amps and look the same as the old ones that produce 35 amps. All you have to do is swap out the pulleys and the external regulator. You can paint the regulator to look vintage and keep the original look of the engine bay.

Forgive me for temporarily hijacking the thread, but do you folks plan on making 70' Mach1 seat upholstery in Ginger any time soon?

    March/November wedding 60's tribute

So far I like everything except the gauges and the scoop. I have never been a fan of digital gauges, thats just how I roll. You might be able to find a hood scoop off of an 82'. They're wide enough to let the Air cleaner poke up through the hood a little and short enough to avoid looking like a...
