Might as well start a thread - Maybe trading the 65 for a Contemporary Classic cobra

I did register on ffcobra.com What are you building exactly? I want a roadster with a Levy 5 link and a 408 stroker.

I am 5 11 185. I wouldn't want to be any bigger and have to sit in one. I know what you are saying. It isn't exactly a cadillac. The big guys don't use a seat rack (they bolt the driver's seat as far back and down as possible), they adjust the pedals, and steering column.

Yeah. I think I am going to wait and save up for the FFR Daytona Coupe with a 500/500 351W stroker and 5 speed.

I am getting really pissed about that. I need the car to drive around when I get down to Tempe on the 10th. MSD said they shipped it, so tomorrow (THU) is the latest it should be here. If not, they are re-embursing me for the one that I am going to buy.

The magnetic pick up in the MSD distributor apparently registers too high. I got 2100 ohms compared to 400 - 1300 by the MSD specs. If UPS ever decides to visit me, I will be able to see if it is good. I love my coupe. If I get a police academy date (i.e. good money), I will buy a...

Lets not get so sensitive here guys. 99% of the time kids don't know about cars. I have to agree.

The younger generation has no clue about cars.......

Hey. I am young and I know about cars. I know more about the 350 engines in the Shelby GT350s than you ever will!!!!!!!

Are you an automotive enthusiest misfit?

Sort of. Most older people like my car. It has graphics all over it like a Trans Am car. It is well done and a totally complete car. Most of the people in the NUMOA (n. Utah) have nice stockers. It is not liek I get any dirty looks, only curious ones. Either way, it is fun. I need to...

    Mustang and Fords subscribers.....

Have you seen my car? It was supposed to be a 2 or 3 page article about it in one of the last couple issues. It is a 65 Trans-Am coupe. It is red with a bunch of vinyl graphics on it. I am overseas right now for the AF. I am just wondering if it made it to the magazine yet. Jeff Ford did...

    replacement seats

I love my Pro Car seats. They are sweet, but my car has the whold Trans Am racecar thing going - roll bar, 5 point harness, graphics, etc. I think that they would look good in a more normal ride though. I hope you aren't fat. They are comfortable if you are of normal size. They are much...

351w and c-6 in my 65, which motor mounts and trans crossmember?

You can get a C4 that will hold much more horsepower than you plan to make. Like ratio said, a c6 drains a lot more hp than a c4. You can go with... C4, Top Loader 4 speed, T5 5 speed, Tremec 5 speed, or a Richmond 6 speed (see gp001's web site), but I would not recommend a C6. Also, you...

    JME GAUGES N BEZELS

65 - 66 is easy to make if you don't want to wait. I love mine. It cost me under 400 bucks, and I used all Autometer guages. It came out perfect.

Help Make Sense of my Dyno numbers (fuel problems)

Actually, no. We went straight to the fuel problem because the FPR guage was going crazy at 5000 rpm and higher.

the racecoupe to be in Mustang and Fords Magazine

I met Jeff Ford, the editor, and Micah, the freelancer at the Pony Trails in Utah a week ago. There were some very nice cars there. Quite a few GT 500s. It was pretty cool. Jeff and Micah are really cool people. They saw my car and asked if I didn't mind having a photo shoot. It was...
