Have you tried maybe electronically tuning the car to get rid of it?

    EFI 351W won't rev past 6000 - HELP!

Try raising the pip filter in your tweecer to 650 or lower. My car revs to about 6500 with it set at 650, but on juice, it still runs into it at about 6300. So I have to adjust the programming for my nitrous to an even lower value. I'm thinkin it's something to do with how fast it revs. Maybe.

Why is the Ecam stree legal and the Bcam not?

I used to run a B cam back in the day, and it's a pretty good cam, and idles kick @$$, but it's that choppiness that kills those emissions. An I look at it this way, as long as one of my cars is emissions friendly, that should make up for my Mustang. RIGHT?!?! :P

    help me tune

I'd leave it there, until you can get to a dyno and tune it properly. You might want to try backing that timing off a few degrees, just to see how that runs too.

    89 with a lean condition

Is the fpr a boost sensetive one? Cuz I've known of people using a boost sensitive fpr without the fmu, and working good. Otherwise, that could be causing the lean condition, if it is only vacuum responsive.

    4cyl to V8 conversion

I went from a 93 4 cylinder from a 92 V8. Made things a lot easier having the same year car. The engine harness plugged right into the factory body harness with no trouble. I swapped everything over tho, including the interior. All in all, it does take a feair amount of mechanical apptitude...

I use the TFS R series, and I like it. Makes surprisingly good low end torque, and I've spun it all the way to 6500 without any trouble.

I had the same problem, but luckily i had 2 motors to work with. I had to use an 88 pan, with a 92 pickup. Works good, and everything clears. Odd, huh?

    Help Me Learn About Transmissions

I have a friend that has a Z T5 behind a pretty nasty 408. Thing will get sideways in third at 65mph. And that's with 3.55's. And then there is me, I've been through about 5 T5's in my various Mustangs, and ended up going to a viper T56, and it's lasted me almost 3 years now. THe big thing...

    front spring isolators

Uh, yeah. THink about it, that's straight metal to metal contact now. New isolators are cheap. I'd say, pull the springs out, reinstall some iso's, and be done with it.

UPR Power Pipe, how does it install!!!!

You still feed it through the same hole, but you have to cut or beat the hole larger. A friend of mine bought a power pipe, and we had to "massage" the hole with the Ford tool. Then the mass air went inside the fender well. Happy hammering.

Cobra and mustang throttle body sizes

The stock TB for both is 60mm. In 93, the cobra ran a 65mm, but in 94, Ford said that the 60 made just as much poer as the 65. Whether that is true or not, who really knows.

    head bolts for 351 heads?

Just get 302 head bolts, but you have to get the reducers for the heads. I think they cost about $40 from summit. I got ARP bolts as well. As for the intake gaskets, not sure, just take them to the parts store and see if the 302 gaskets works, if they do, I'd use them.

    tweecer

I have a Tweecer, and it's pretty kick @$$. The only thing is, to use the wide band, u have to remove the egr, and plug the wideband into that. No biggy for me,t he car's got no emissions on it anyway. There's a Yahoo user group for the tweecer anyway. Good help, and the owner is on it often...

Will the (94-98) rearend assembly work?

Watch that rear tire clearance tho, I had to grind and cut and roll the fender lips, cuz my 255/40/17's rubbed. I ended up swapping out the lower springs for Ford C springs, for less ride height drop too.
