Engine Problems After Head Gasket Job. Please Help!!!

Agree with stykthyn sounds like you may have had a problem with one or more of the gaskets. Consider the first time practice and hit it up again. White smoke from the exhaust is very indicative of coolant entering one or more cylinders. Check the oil and see if it looks milky.

Electrical World Power Systems Or Cardone New Distributor. Come With Pip Sensor?

The PIP is not hard to change. You do have to pull the dizzy, punch a roll pin out to remove the gear and pull the shaft. Looking at all of your posts I would not think it is out the realm of your skill set. Mine went bad and caused all kinds of intermittant problems before it finally crapped out

    Over Tightened Drum Breaks

Should be able to keep working it. They make a brake adjuster tool that is angled and works a little better than a flat head screw driver. Its easy to turn them the wrong way, if I remeber correctly they are right hand threaded but becasue of the way they sit they turn opposite of each each...

    Changing Clutch

If you attempt this be careful with the wire harness. We pinched some wires between the bell housing and block which caused the check engine light. Hope someone find this post useful:)

    Changing Clutch

Wow not much action here compared to the Fox forum. Well we changed the clutch. Pretty straight forward, taking our time only took about 4 hours using jack stands and a floor jack. Got the clutch and flywheel kit from NAPA, nice kit. For future referance, Did not have to pull the exhaust...

    Transmission, Burnt And Overfilled

Have you had any luck with your trans? Over filled could have been causing the shift problem but I doubt it. There are lots of urban legend surronding trans fluid these days. I wonder if your dealer did not want to change the fluid because it would have cost you a couple of hundred bucks...

    Changing Clutch

Need to help change a clutch on an 08 4.0 V 6. Anything special to worry about? Is it true that you pull the whole tranny including bell housing down in one unit instead of seperating the trans from the bell housing like a Fox body. Side note: Why are there so few choices for clutches for...

A leaking/blown head gasket can cause a piston to look like that. Basically high pressure steam cleaning action going on in there if the water leak isn't too bad

Battery Drains Overnight..draws Over An Amp

A good way to see what's pulling current is to use your amp meter and pull fuses one at a time and watch when the current draw stops. That will help you isolate the circuit with the problem. :bang:

blue collar opinion on mm & fast fords etc

I get it but probably will not renew. Tired of reading about people paying other people to build high end cars for them. Rarely see a car built or modified by the owner much anymore but I do like the few that I see.;)

Where can i get this dash piece

Looks like its just the dash part that surrounds the speedo/tach cluster on 87-93 cars that someone pulled the hazard/rear defroster swtich out and mounted a gauge. You could propably get one at a junk yard and if needed remount the guage. Its custom but not that much.

My Mustang Thinks It's A Lawn Mower?

Sounds like you got it fixed. Wonder if you were pulling yourself up a little by the steering wheel when you got out of the car, just enough to affect the bad switch?
