    Need some help in NW INdiana

    I have a cheap and reliable machanic. He is a machine shop operator at a local standard auto parts store and he builds drag cars for a hobby. He does all the work out of his garage with a few helpers. Where are you at in Indiana?? I am close to logansport. Donny

    When I first got my Stang back in 1999 I took her up to 135mph and never took her there again. I took my new lincoln up to 140 a few weeks ago and it could have kept going but these roads are nowhere near flat and straight enuff for that. My Lincoln is the fastest car I have ever owned...

    I heard that the smog pump is there to pump air into the cats, Is this true??? Cause I don't have cats on my car anymore but I still have the smog pump, Should I remove it and if I do how hard of a job is it and will I gain anything doing it???? Donny

    Which ever one you decide to buy don't waste your money paying someone else to put it in. I did mine by myself and it was my first time ever working on my own car and it took about 45 minutes. Easiest job ever!!!!!! Donny

    Even though they do look out of place you got a great deal and will have a much more comfortable ride then before!!!! :nice: If money is tight and you can't afford to change out the carpet and paint the grey interrior I would just invest in some nice light colored seat covers for now. Donny
