    lifting rear tire

At ride height, how many degrees down angle (most likely) do you have on your lower control arms? If you have an inclinometer, just put it on top of the arm.

    lifting rear tire

You need to adjust your (4-link?) for more neutral or anti squat. In other words, move your instant center more forward when the chassis is loaded. In your case, what's happening is when you load the chassis in the turn and accelerating out the back you're actually pulling the rearend up...

    Cam Installation Questions...

In most cases... yes. What did the cam card say? Now, if you were to measure lobe lift by the manufacturers cam card, you should see the same results. I have never, in 27 years, witnessed an OTS camshaft "dial in" where the cam card says it should be. If you wanted maximum performance...

    rocker problems

Remove the nut and look down in that area for indication of wear or chaffing. I've heard, but not personally witnessed people having issues with their polylock/nuts riding on the rocker body and not fully seating down on it's lands.

Need help with valve springs and locks!

Cool. Double, even triple check all your clearances, especially coil-bind. Also check for retainer to guide clearance at full open. It sounds like a lot to check, and overwhelming... but it's pretty much straight forward once you have better understanding. The results will be worth your...

Need help with valve springs and locks!

Crane Cams is "no" longer. They are gone, and may be the reason you get no Tech. You're install height should match what your camshaft and rocker ratio require. Just make sure your installer knows this... is aware of all these things. I don't mean to talk bad about anyone, but my first...

Need help with valve springs and locks!

I'm not familiar with the P/N set you have, but I am familiar with using different keepers and retainers to come up with the correct install height. Make sure you don't have two sets of retainers and obviously you have two sets of keepers. I suggest you personally call Crane and get the...

    Suspension Assistance Please

Are you considering "real" coilovers or the slip-ons? When going coilover, I suggest a good quality full threaded, monotube, dbl adjustable, gas shock. There are many reasons for using this style over others. The biggies for me are; 1. easier to dial in ride height/spring psi 2. control...

:nice: Here's the physics you're dealing with. The more air and fuel you get in the combustion chamber, the more power you'll make... period. This means 347ci = more potential power than a 331ci. I suggest you talk with people who race/own 347ci sbfs. You'll find many shifting at...

:rlaugh: Yeah, I noticed that too. I apologize, that's not my intention. Everyone has to start somewhere, someplace. It's just nice not having to start at the very beginning. I've always been surrounded by extemely smart and experienced people in the performance world and has kept me from...
