    try unplugging the IAC, that fixed my high idle. i dont know what harm it could cause though, if any.

    its brand new, says it is for an 87-93 5.0 mustang with manual trans. the new one has wire loom over it, so im not sure, but i am sure that the one on my car WAS wrong, so i cant really compare.

    upside down calipers?

    correct me if im wrong, but i think the issue is how the caliper holds the pad... if the pad has one end that is supported while the other end pivots in and out, you cant swap them because then you run the risk of the pad pivoting out when it shouldnt.

    thanks that cleared up a lot, any idea where i can get teflon coated wire with a fuse link in it? and would you suggest i buy that one from mustangs unlimited linked above? after all the reading, id hate to get one that doesnt work for me... i have long tube headers btw.
