    im sure the zone has the right parts available, but they would probably hand me one for another kind of car. I cant believe how many times my local autozone has sold the wrong parts to either my friends or I, yet i still go back for the basics out of sheer convenience.

    i have autometer mechanical gauges for both water temp and oil pressure... but now that you mention it, that makes perfect sense. Can i just cut them since they are not being used? or does that carry a risk of fire?

    whats this heat sink grease? and how can i tell if my distributor is TFI? i replaced my stock unit with a msd distributor about a year ago trying to solve this same problem, but its still running weak sometimes.
