Narrow Band Sensor On A CARB car?

I wasn't implying that it did. I mentioned the wire number count simply for reference and the possibility that a OE O2 sensor might work with this guage.

    Mustang Miles

My GT will turn 219k tomorrow. Still running strong, although it puffs a bit of blue smoke in the mornings. My LX has 238k and as far as I know the valve covers have never been off the car. It still runs amazingly strong considering the miles. I hope to get atleast 250k out of the GT.

Narrow Band Sensor On A CARB car?

My Edlebrock, reads from approx 12.5:1 to 15:1. There are 7 LED's. From my experience a narrow band works great on a carbed vehicle and is worth every penny. I picked up my edelbrock new off Ebay for 72 bones. Whether or not a OE O2 sensor will work or not, I don't know. The O2 sensor...

    145 top speed

:bs: A stock 86 speedo won't wrap itself around like that. The needle stops once it hits the bottom, center of the speedo. I've done it more times than I can count.

    145 top speed

I've had my 86 up to 4500rpm in 4th w/ the 2:73's, which I figure to about 130mph. The car was still pulling hard, I let off because the front end was feeling light.

    Air/Fuel Gauge on Carb setup?????

I've got the Edelbrock narrow band in my carbed Bronco and love it. I wanted something for fine tuning the carb without spending a bunch of money. That being said, the wideband will be a better setup, but also a lot more expensive.

I just got a ticket from the biggest dick in the world!

I'm afraid to count how many tickets I've recieved over the last 10 years. My record hasn't been clean since I was 18. Although coming up in October, there won't be any more moving violations on my record. Either I'm getting old and wise, slow or lucky.

    Holley or Edelbrock carb?

Holley if you don't mind fine tuning. Edelbrock if you want to plug and play. Personally, I've always preferred Holley.

    Mpg in a daily?

My GT averages 21-22 mixed driving. Best it's got mixed was 25.4, that was an experiment driving like a grandma. It averages 25-27hwy.

Check the alternator. If the voltage regulator inside the alternator goes bad it will create a short.

    Steering Vibration

Had the balance checked again yesterday--they were fine. It's not a tire balance or tire quality issue.

    190,000 mile fox?

Sounds like a good deal, if the car runs and drives solid--buy it. Both of my Mustangs have over 215k on them, both run great.

    Steering Vibration

My 86GT has a vibration through the steering wheel at 65-75mph, it's done it for some time now. I've done a search and didn't find any conclusive answers. It's not a driveline vibration--it's from the front end. I had the car aligned and one inner tie rod replaced a couple months ago. The...

how many miles are fords 5.0s good for?

My LX has shy of 238K, as far as I know the valve cover haven't been off the engine--yes they leak, I will change them soon. Car still runs strong and doesn't smoke. My GT just turn 211k, runs very strong, only a light puff of blue smoke in the morning. Uses a quart of oil every 1200miles...
