    Just Went FI (PICS!)

I know the feeling, I've had to take a mini-sledge to the firewall more than once... Though not on this stang. Cutting the hood, not that's a whole different beast! Dan

    Were to buy 285/45/18..??

Not even Barby has those numbers, more of a V shape than an hour glass too... When I get new wheels and tires I plan on going with 285/35/18s. Dan

    Pully question

In one MM&FF mag I saw they had trouble getting the crank bolt out of a cobra (03 I think, to put an overdrive pully on it), so they got the car up on the lift and used like a 6 foot piece of square tubing on the breaker bar...

    DAMN WHEEL HOP!!!

Griggs racing sells a torque arm setup for our cars, I'm seriously considering it even though its about $800. The UCA on these cars is just way too short for proper geometry. My 00 WS6 with the stock suspension and about 310-320 RWHP never had any wheel hop issues. Dan

    Pully question

I like the breaker bar technique, less stress on the bolt (that goes in your crank...). But I also have a jack handle that I put over my breaker bar to make it about 4 ft long:rolleyes: Dan

fog light delete-what to do with wires??

Get a little bit of silicon grease and use a q-tip to apply it over the connectors, that will protect them from the elements, and add some electricians tape over the top for added protection. Then just zip-tie them to something. Dan

    Sound of stage III cams

What does it dyno? Stock bottom end? A turbo with those heads and that intake has to be a handful!!! Dan P.S. Awesome car, I love it.

    Ball Joints

But I'm guessing you're out of warranty? The BMR arms may actually be cheaper since you could install them yourself. But I don't know how high of quality they are. The Steeda X5 ball joints are taller than stock, raising the wheel relative to the control arm, which has the overall effect of...

    Ball Joints

The factory ball joints should be good to well over 100k miles, do you have a specific symptom? Dan

    Sound of stage III cams

LOL on the cage bar through the AC vent... That sounds kinda drunk, like me. WTF with the no pics of the intake? Dan

    6.2L BOSS motor being released!

I don't know the specs on it, but I've heard that the Boss motor dwarfs the current mod motor. But, yeah the GT500 motor is a battleship anchor. In fact, a lot of what I know is hearsay, because I've also heard the new Coyote motor uses the same 5.0 block from the FR500. I'd love for that not...

53000 miles on first set of brake pads?

You ground groves into your pads? or rotors? Either way that's nuts...

    DAMN WHEEL HOP!!!

Nah, getting it back down is the pain of it all!!!

    6.2L BOSS motor being released!

The 6.2L boss is a massive motor, both in size and weight. It's not the best fit for a sports car. The 5.0 cammer motor is a better option. Dan

53000 miles on first set of brake pads?

Frankly, braking is more to due with the tires than the pads/rotors, though you can get a grabier pad so it requires less pedal effort. 60k is a lot of miles on any pad, I would have them checked. Dan

Anyone ran a New Dodge Challenger yet?

The SRT8 with traction may be some trouble, but those bastards are heavy, a clean 600lbs heavier than our cars. That means a slower car with bigger traction issues. Now, I'd bet a full bolt-on challenger with 315 DRs would post some very nice 1/4 ETs, otherwise I'd bet Brian's recount is fairly...
