    Xporter's Bimini Coupe build

The wheels are actually off a Lincoln, I forget if it was a town car or continental. I know what you mean about "fresh" when I first saw it I was like wow that's alot brighter then I remember but when I looked under the doorpanels it was a perfect match. I don't think I'm going to put the...

    Xporter's Bimini Coupe build

Thanks man! I'm really excited but it still has a ways to go. I'm going to attack the suspension next and then tear into the motor. Oh and then I need to work on the interior a bit. Never ends:shrug: I love your coupe by the way, looks mean:nice:

    Xporter's Bimini Coupe build

Well let's just say the company I work for sends alot of buisness to that body shop so I got a really good deal;). But normally they would charge about $2500-3000 for the outside only with no color change and no major body work.

They came out pretty good. I may pick up another set and redo them later on. I still had some tiny pits that I missed but I need to get the car back together so I kinda rushed these.

    Xporter's Bimini Coupe build

I've been restoring the window trim, quarter windows, cowl grill, and side mirror while they work on the body. I'm using a high build primer to fill the pits.(apply two coats, sand with 400, redo until smooth, finish with some quality trim paint)

    Xporter's Bimini Coupe build

I've posted this on another forum so you may have seen this already but for those who haven't: Well I started with a bone stock 92 Bimini Blue Coupe. Overall the car was in good shape with some minor damage to the hood and passenger fender. I already completed a 5 lug conversion...

Pics of 17x10 Pony Rs in the rear?

Hey that's my old calypso notch, thanks for the compliments. I regret selling that car so I bought a Bimini Blue notch to replace it. It will look exactly the same minus the color of course. It being repainted as we speak.

99 Mustang Seats in a Fox

Even the Cobra's and Machs? I might have an upholstry shop try to use some of the material from the back so I can keep the same look. The machs have the ribbed center and I'd like it to match the fronts.

99 Mustang Seats in a Fox

The fronts bolt right in. The rears are narrower in a coupe but I think in a hatch they would fit good. I put seats from a Mach in mine and they are comfy. Machs, Bullitts, or Cobra seats would be the only ones I'd use though since they have the side supports. I remember you putting the...

    Getting Discouraged

Ok thanks, my car has the bigger front fenders and it's not lowered yet so I'm hoping to get away with it till the tires wear out, then I'll go smaller.

    Getting Discouraged

I would keep what you have. I regret selling some parts then have to go buy them again. Think about what it will cost you to build that short block again versus what your selling it for. On a side note I see you have 275/40's all the way around. How's the fit in the front? Do you have any...

why do you drive a fox?

I had an old man pull up beside me yesterday and say "You can buy a Ferrari but it still won't sound like your stang". So 2 reasons: The sound and torque of the 302 and I just love the looks of a nice clean fox. Who know's maybe one day the new mustang will look like a fox and we'll be...
