    Magnapack Install

    I have all the parts for my Magnapacks/Catted X pipe and while looking at the directions I noticed that it says to cut the factory catback. Is that to remove the mufflers? It looks like they would come out without cutting it, but thats what it says. I'd rather not have to cut anything in case...

    Mine is doing it with 20K on it I figure its the TOB. Its getting more regular now though :notnice:. The question I have is if its will be covered under the factory warrenty or is it a "wear item" like the rest of the clutch?

    Quick I'm ordering tonight and I can't decide from the sound clips. Magnaflows or Magnapacks I want it loud with a deep rumble (good sound). I was thinking packs because they are louder but was uncertain about the sound :shrug:.

    squealing/whining problem...please help

    The dealer is changing my idler pulley and tensioner right now actually. It would whine in the morning origionally then move to just squeaky. Hopefully it gets fixed....

    Hey where were you getting a new cobra vert offered to you for under 30K out the door? Thats a pretty darn good deal for a 04.....I would have been jumping on the deal and I'll even let you get the $50 that the dealerships give out to bring someone in lol.

    Just and update on my problems with the "supercharger whine". They said the idler pulley was bad as well was the water pump. Kinda had that thought, second time that the the water pump has gone bad however.... I would imagine the water pump has somethign to do with the cooling system...

    I thought it was a recall too, its a defect from the factory not something that broke. Why not get a new 03 Mach for 23K-24K if you can afford it (or a used one for around 20)? Its only 7 grand for factory warrenty and a car that is not 5 years with very close to the same performance specs...

    Clutch or a Belt going bad?

    Can you change the TO Bearing without changing the clutch? Think it would fall under the 3 Yr 36000 War? I know the clutch is a "wear item" and is only for 12000 but I'm hoping as I talked to the service manager before they may do something about it if its the problem.
