    Mustang Gt 5.0...High speed dangerous?

    I had no issue with full throttle on ramp merging with 350hp over the past five years with my 01GT. I would think these new stangs are a lot safer then the my 01GT. You don't want to go WOT and take a sharp turn. If you do that then you will spin out. This is true for most rear wheel drive cars.

    Interesting I made 310rwtq just with stage II cams and supporting mods yet your car is only putting down 307. Also I made tq a lot lower in the power band. Your HP numbers seem good but tq seems off.

    I would wait on the CAI until American Muscle has a JLT CAI/Xcal 3 tune combo. I have been here tests of the 2011 V6 gaining 25-27rwhp and 20rwtq with a 93 OCT tune.

    I did some searching to see how much power the new V6 makes with an Xcal 3 93 Oct tune and reports are showing 25-27rwhp (that's around 335hp at the crank) and about 20rwtq (around 300tq at the crank).     The 2v puts out only 20lbs more tq then the 2011 v6 (300 vs 280) and the 2011 v6 puts out 45 more hp then the 2v (260 vs 305) and does not weigh that much more. I think the 4v v6 is going to respond very well to mods. Its a very impressive car.

    Technically you should get better gas mileage with a CAI and tune. These cars will probably be good for 320hp with CAI tune and still get 28mpg on the highway.

    It has a higher flowing intake then older stangs but a real CAI will be much better.

    American muscle has a CAI but no tune yet. I would think they would have a CAI tune combo from American muscle soon. I think with a 93 oct tune and CAI your looking at probably close to a 20hp gain.

    Stop light was green, the guy in front of me was turning left so he had to stop before making the left turn. Obviously I stopped behind him and then the girl behind me didn't look and ran right into the back of me.

    Yeah I agree right now I actually don't want it back. Even if she got fixed I don't think she would be 100% perfect. I already have a 2011 speced out. As long as I get 8500+ for my car I will be going with a 2011 stang.
