    e brake

Now the 86 and earlier have a different setup than the later cars, so yours is adjustable on the ebrake handle. If the cables are there and attached, it may just need to be adjusted.

    rear calipers the same, 94-95, 96-98, 99-04?

Don't know what Advance is smoking, but Autozone has only two part numbers for all GT rear calipers from 94-04 - C394 (driver)and C395 (pass)

    Just brought it home!!! 88GT!

Looks very good! For your questions, just swap over some later model headrests, that will lower the seat some. I had some 87 GT seats for a while in my LX and I hated them. The later headrests are a slightly different color, or get some halos like Mike and I did. The only direct cluster swap...

    Bullitt Seats in a Fox....

No it was easy. He pulled the regular headrests out with the seats out of the car, then the halos slipped right into place. I don't know about them though. I kind of like the stockers on the Bullitt seats. But the halos look good on my 2002 seats, that is why he wanted a set too!

oh boy, I'm thinking 5 lug conversion

Disc only. The drums would not sit fully on the shoes of you attempted it. They will stick out a bit more than 94-95 spindles. 8" wheels like stock Bullitts would be OK, but 9" wheels like 03 Cobras would risk rubbing on the fender, especially if you have decent sized tires on them.

    clutch or transmission?

First, I would change the fluid. I've driven through a couple of "puddles", actually curb deep water across an intersection, and water got in my tranny, turning the AT fluid into a strawberry milkshake! It shifted very hard until I changed it. MAYBE you will get lucky and that is all it is...

Will a hood fit into the back of a hatchback?

LOL! I've also brought home a nice rust free hatch, in the back of my hatchback LX. I stumbled on it at our local Pick a Part during lunch. Well, knowing it would not last long at all, I called my boss and asked for the afternoon off. So I pulled it (in my work clothes, none the less...

    Bullitt Seats in a Fox....

Found some pics he took. The local guy he got them from turned his car into a racecar with less than 2K miles on it. Bargain of the year for less than $500 for them all:

    which rack do i need?

You want the sport steering / performance one, unless you want more turns and a 4 cyl rack. I have the same one and it feels just like stock.

    Bullitt Seats in a Fox....

They will be great! A friend has some in his 91 lx, they are VERY comfortable. I keep trying to buy them from him but he wants to put them in his 06 GT. I would LOVE to get a good set to replace my 2002 GT seats. I don't know if he has any pics, but IMO they look better than any other SN95...

help me identify some brake parts

First off, you have a line lock installed on the front brakes that is combining the two lines into one. It is one way to do a 3 to 2 port conversion. The MC does look like a Fox one to me. One way to tell is if there is a port on the bottom of the MC. Sometimes when they install a LL on Fox...

    Door help

The 87-93 doors will physically fit, but in order to use the 86 mirror and window trim, you will have to weld up several holes at the top of the door. The mounting points for the larger 87-93 door trim are riveted to the doors. Plus I think some of the screw & bolt mounting points for the...

4 wheel disc swap to come this winter. is this what i need?

OK, her is more on the differences between the setups. 1. You need the NRC brackets or other modified brackets to mount the rear calipers on the shorter Ranger axles. The SN95 axles are longer, thus the stock disc caliper brackets are designed to mount the calipers away from the rear housing...

    Clutch Problems

It could just be as simple as a mis adjusted or stretched clutch cable. If the clutch is not disengaging completely, it will cause grinding when you shift, especially in 1st and reverse. What kind of cable does it have? Stock, or does it have an aftermarket clutch quadrant under the dash...

Rear end rocks side to side?

Good info in here guys. I'm about to take on a rear end rebuild since I have a serious clunk in my rear end everytime I start off, shift, and let off the accelerator. Like a bad u joint, but I have a new aluminum one that is perfect. I also have the same side to side movement, so I'll have to...

    A/C clutch won't stop spinning

Did he plug in the cycling switch back up, or leave a jumper wire in it? Otherwise, maybe the switch is bad and it is not letting it cycle. Has it been running OK recently? Does the WOT switch turn it off? Is the evaporator freezing up on you and not letting the air flow? I had a car years...

    Is my Master Cylinder bad?

What booster do you have? Usually a hard pedal is from not having enough boost. A bad MC usually you have to pump it up to get stopping power since it goes to the floor easily, or the pedal stops, and then continues to drop as you hold your foot on the pedal. This is a result of the internal...

    Mustang with no title..

I assume you are in OK? I googled title 42 and got a lot of info. Here is a place that specializes in getting titles transferred: NOTARY SPECIALIST - What is a title 42 in Oklahoma SO basically, you can't drive it until you get the title. Like everyone says, you shouldn't buy a...

Adjusting Ford Racing e-brake cables (Sn95 disk)

Same on mine. I used several washers to space the equalizer bar back a bit and then the two nuts. I finally got mine to work a year ago for my inspection, and it took a couple of times to adjust it right.

I crashed my stang today (PIC)

Looks almost exactly like mine was about 7 years ago. I rear ended a Datsun pickup that had a tube bumper. It took out the hood just like yours, all 6 of the lights, tweaked the radiator support back about 1-1/2" and pushed the DS fender back into the door slightly. Can't tell from the pic if...
