    Mark 8 Cobra Build

The heads and cams are the same as a 96-98 cobra. You'll want an intake from a 96-98 as those are B heads.

    How Many Ponies??

Don't waste you're money and time with shorties. Long tubes will make power. For an auto run Mac as they fit best.

    Car Won't Shift

Buy a maximum motor sports quadrant, cable, fire wall adjuster and try again. Stay away from any of the adjustable aftermarket cables. I've tried about all of them and trust me the MM kit is by far superior and made for the best feeling clutch I've ever used.

    Car Won't Shift

Keep adjusting the cable until there is very little slack on the cable and the tob isn't pressing against the clutch fingers. What cable/quadrant setup are you running?

Does it change gears while the car is not running?

    How Many Ponies??

375-400 depending on the dyno. You're going to need long tubes, cams, and maybe some head work to get up to 450 unless it's just a freak. That being said mine only "puts down" 410 through an auto on 10/11lbs but runs 11.45@119. So a dyno is just a tuning tool and I wouldn't put much stock...

    Stage 3 Blower Cams.

He’s the guy cam guys call for mod motor cams. Lol. He’s a good dude that’s been doing this for a long time. Nasvt is his screen name that you can research on svt forums etc. There are a LOT of really fast mod motor cars out there running his cams. I am running a set and my car screams...

    Oil In Exhaust

You need to know if you have oil in the chambers or not. That'll help the diagnosis.

    Stage 3 Blower Cams.

Call Todd Warren and have him grind you a set. That combo deserves a custom set vs an ots cam. Nasvt is his Facebook page.

Progress Thread 1998 Gt Procharger Build--dyno And Track Numbers Inside

The car developed a squeaky front end at the track last weekend. So I ordered new moog ball joints and front hubs and rebuilt the front end yesterday. Car drives amazingly better. It was starting to bump steer pretty bad and now it's all tight again. My steeda cc plates are out of adjustment...

    I Want A New Driver

I'd love to get my hands on a blue or green bullet. Likely not going to ever happen unless I part out and sell my current car. Way too much invested in it to even begin to justify.

    Help Ole Rusty !

It all bolts right in if you have a donor car. You'll need just about everything from the v8 car (engine, trans, wiring, k member etc). As cheap as v8 cars are getting you're almost money ahead to buy a running/driving car. Mid 11's is doable. But isn't budget friendly. 11.45@119 here but...

    Help Ole Rusty !

At the end of the day its your car so build what you want. If your skill level and funds are low then a v6 doesn't make a lot of sense from a "performance" perspective. If you're just wanting a fun reliable cruiser then they absolutely make sense. Cheap, fast, reliable: Pick 2. :)

    I Want A New Driver

The same issues a fox has a poorly taken care of Sn can have as well. Check for rust in all the normal places (strut tower, torque boxes etc). These cars got cheap about 5 years ago and are starting to resemble foxes from 10 years ago. There are still quite a few good ones out there so take...

    Help Ole Rusty !

300-400hp out of a v-6? A full bolt on 4.6 will barely crack 300 n/a on a good day. You're going to work twice as hard and spend twice as much money to make a v-6 fast. They weren't meant to be that. They are very good commuter motors as you've discovered with well over 300k on it. Grab...

    Mustang 2003-04 Oem Subframe Connectors

If you're going to weld them in place anyway, spend $60 and buy a set of aftermarket ones that are way stiffer.
