Hey all, I did a little searching and was not able to find the answer that I was looking for. Are there tranny coolers that are made for t-5's. If not, why not. And would it be worth it if adding a t-5 tranny cooler could be custom added?

You are going to have sand it anyway for better paint adhesion. But chemicals are quicker. You may want to drop this into the paint shop and see what you come up with there.

I am looking for books myself, but the first thing that you want to do is get a Chilton manual. Damn near all of the torque specs are listed and there is a wealth of good overall basic information. You may also want to check out 5.0 resto.
Do the math. Figure out the costs of all the items. Check a few sites where these parts are sold. (Summit, etc...) Factor in the cost of labor and there you have it. Get an itemized list of all of the parts that was used. See if he's tacking on to the price of the item installed for exra profit...
