    I was thinking the same thing^^^^ also i would use autolite or motorcraft wires they will last a lot longer plus they have a better warranty. I have learned my lesson about performance ignition parts..they don't last long.

    The breather filter is under the pcv valve it looks like a little metal basket...it's hard to see. You will need a flash light/work light to see it plus you will need a long pick to remove it. Did you check the pcv by shaking it to see if you hear a rattle? or did you replace it?

    What cam are you running? It could be the timing because you can advance the timing too far and the car will buck and jerk. Did you try to retard the timing? And do you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

    You can take them apart remove one of the o rings and take to napa or any autoparts store and have them to match them up with new o rings. Did you smear engine oil on them before you put everything back together? also did you hear a click when you joined the connections?

    You may need a new distributor soon. From looking at the pics of the inside of the distributor cap..it looks like the shaft/pip may have some play causing the spark to bounce around at high rpm.

    Keep an eye on the two fuel lines that goes to the fuel rail..but as long as you don't see any leaks don't worry about it. The smell will go away the more you drive it.

    A bad pickup inside the distributor will cook the tfi module.

    Check the vacuum hoses at the back of the upper intake ..also take a look on passenger side of motor at the plastic vacuum lines that goes to the egr/intake and smog stuff.
