    Erratic Timing?

    Could be your distributor/bad pickup inside of it causing the erratic timing. If nothing else works try another distributor. I have had new parts go bad like TFI modules also autozone distributors...you never know.

    Shifting Issue

    You may need a new cable or try adjusting your cable. If your are still running the stock cable/setup.. put your foot under the clutch pedal then pull up on the pedal until you hear a click then push the pedal down to the floor. That will adjust the stock cable/setup.

    Have you check the codes? I just replaced the distributor in my car for the same reason..when i check the codes i had a code 14 for the pip sensor. It still could be a bad pip sensor..my car didn't stall but it had miss sometimes.

    Try changing your beather filter and pcv valve then clean your throttle body and iac vavle.That should take care of the stalling and smoke from the dipstick. Also clean your mass air sensor.

    When was the last time you changed the transmission fluid in your T5?..it could be the problem.Also it could be your throwout bearing making the noise.

    Looks like it's just a bad intake gasket. Also if you're still running the coolant tube that goes to the egr spacer it could be the gasket for the egr spacer.     Have you adjusted the timing after replacing the TFI module? Your timing may be the problem.

    What kind of fan are you running? Because that could be the problem if your car does not overheat on the highway but it overheats in traffic.

    Have you checked your fuel pressure?.. also how old is your fuel pump? Also have you checked to see if it's giving off any codes with the engine running.

    What would be the downside in using the cheaper Flowtech headers?

    I have been running flowtech headers for about 5 years on my GT with no problems with rust. I just used 2000 degree exhaust paint.. i sanded them and sprayed them flat black.

    What do you mean?...it comes out clean..Are you getting any codes? like code 11 or just nothing.

    It could be a short in the alternator. If you get it tested it will pass... but the problem will not show up until everything is warm and when your engine cools off and instead of charging the battery it will pull power from the battery. Hook up a multimeter to the battery with the engine...

    Could be the Camshaft sensor or you may have unplug or pulled something loose something by mistake when you did the work. It also can be the fuel pump.

    The HO firing order also works with your cars computer to get the best power and driveability.

    strange misfire

    Yes it would cause your car to ..buck-..stutter.. surge.. run rich sometimes run lean. If your computer does not know the temp of the coolant it can not control how much fuel to give in open loop/cold engine or closed loop/normal temp warm engine. That's your problem ..even if you got that code...

    fire help!!!!

    Sorry about your car If you took out the gauge cluster to install the clutch cable/quadrant..the circuit board may have burned out starting the fire. I have seen this happend but i was able to pulled the battery cables and unplug the harness at the back of the circuit board of the gauge cluster...
