Will racing fuel at the track help my times?

You wont get a ounce more performance out of it unless you tune your engine to use the benefits of it (IE timing, like was allready stated). Nail. Head.

    Trouble with '99 4V heads?

Hey guys, I've heard a rumor floating around that some 99 cobras had 'problems' with the heads? Any truth in this? I say 'problems' vaguely simply because thats all i've heard. No concrete issues, just that there was trouble with them. I'm going to be inthe market for a 99 cobra in three months...

Is 120K miles too high for a 99 cobra?

I would pass on it, there are better cobras out there for the taking. A cobra will last 500k miles if its maintained correctly. but 120k miles of poor maintenace = a car thats likely to die soon. I'd spend 15K and get a really excellent one.

    $1200 after Iraq-help me

I would skip the CAI and just get a good K and N filter if you dont allready. otherwise it sounds like a good list. MY personal favorite in exhaust setups is a Dr Gas X mated to a set of magnapacks. Loud as heck but good lordy it sounds wicked when ya step on it. With the xtra cash from not...

whats the difference between power shifting and just shifting fast?

Simply, Powershifting = shifting with ZERO clutch. Not a very good idea imo, but alot of guys do it. Prolly alot of the same guys who have trashed 3650s, hehe. Im never in such a hurry as to not use the clutch.. 186K mi on my original plates :)

Engine Revs Itself on shift (Help)

Possibly some gummy cables? have you check the actuation of the cabling itself to see how smoothly it works? Or maybe something in the linkage is hanging up?

HELP! bleeding brakes, accidentally let master cylinder run DRY! Now what?!?

The differnce betewwen using the vacuum pump [auto bleeder] and doing it manually [hose and bottle] is gravity. Doign it manually is also called gravity fed bleeding. it will get some of the smaller air bubbles and stuff. It works just fine if your line systems is like 99% purged of air...

    Driving a stick...

This is basically pretty close to how I drive the car, unless I'm in a lazy Sunday mood and I don't even downshift, I'll just lug it through the corner [I rarely ever go to WOT in everyday driving].

    Driving a stick...

I think some of you guys learned how to shift at the Driving Miss Daisy Academy of Speed, hehe. You don't really think the engineers who designed your gearbox didn't think about deceleration streeses and planned accordingly for em? I double clutch sometimes for fun, or in certain situations...

HELP! bleeding brakes, accidentally let master cylinder run DRY! Now what?!?

The 'very expensive tool' is an automotive brake bleeder, approx 60 bucks. Its not the end of the world just a tiem consuming thing to fix. No way around this, and I would reccomend you doing it yourself. Its real easy, and a ford shop will no doubt screw ya over to do it.

    APC Racing Seats

APC is one of the WORST companies I have ever seen products from. Everything from their seat belt covers (lol), to their retarded altezza style tailights, are cheap-looking piles of crap. Personally, I would give my buddies the beating of a lifetime if they ever put PC junk in thier cars. ( hehe)
