    Opinions PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

I would say without a doubt, GEARS FIRST!! THats your best bang-for-the-buck mod out there. You dont gain any HP but you can use what you have much easier. Gears first, then a midpipe.. then possibly a CAI/RAI.. etc.

    BBk vs. MAC Straight Shot

Personally I wouldnt reccomend either of them! If you want real gains, go with a FLT, Densecharger or a FIPK. Justm y two centavos

    Best wax for black paint?

Zaino is by far the best- but it can be a pain to get ahold of. As for brands that are readily available in retail stores, I would SERIOUSLY reccomend Eagle One Nano Wax! It's GORGEOUS! Almost as good as zaino!

O/R H? X pipe? Dr. Gas? Prochamber? w/2 chamber flowmasters...

I had a MAC O/R H pipe but the fittment and overall quality of the unit was piss-poor. I did buy it used, however. I'm torn between a Pro Chamber, and a Bassani X. Those seem to be the two highest-quality units out there... I love the Pro Chamber sound, but I'm leery of if it has the same...

Do you use your Cobra as a daily driver?

Couldnt have said it better myself. I bought my vert to drive it!

    O/R H pipe install tips

The only thing I can add to the above posts [which are all very good btw] si that you may need some special manifold studs for the drivers side manifold. The stockers have a large amount of un-threaded space on them and that can be enough to leave a little exhaust gap, as was the case with my 99...

Is Trading Up The Right Thing To Do?

Don't be silly man, this could be a good thing for you- Sell the cars yourself individually, you'll come out further ahead. It may take more time, but yo'll do much better to have the cash in hand.

Driver Door Handle about to break!!

The dealer is full of ***** I had this same problem on my 99 SVT. The handle is NOT held on with rivets, its held on with two brass nuts with floating washers. All you have to do to fix this problem is open up the door, roll the window up, and thread the nuts back on. I highly doubt you'll...

Do YOU run an O/R H Pipe? - Step Inside

I've got the MAC O/R H with a set of 50 series flows and I LOVE the sound! Its quiet and mellow if you want it to be, and sounds like NASCAR incarnate when you romp on it! I did have a small fittment issue with the drivers side header seal. I've got an exhaust leak there I'm trying to seal...

    Tri-ax Install Problem

You have a T3650 Trans, I'm 100% sure of it. For one, half the 01's made came with them, and secondly, I just had my 99 [equipped with a T45] open 2 weeks ago to install mine and it looked nothing like the pic you posted. You definetly have a T3650. If your shifter isnt fitting perfectly, they...

Thats funny- thats exaclty the part I like the most :) Those 270Ms look great- I've stared at Tirerack.com for many a hour thinking about a set of those on my 99 snake.

K&N Oil Filter, Is it worth it

You may be right, and you probably are, but its cheap insurance. I plan on keeping my Vert until the day the Lord calls me home, this car is gettign babied every step of the way. Full synth and a M1 filter every 5K miles, or less, for life.

    a dumb question

No there's a difference. THe S281's are N/A 2v engines, basically GT's. S281SC's are obviously the boosted ones

    do I need this

I had the exact same problem, sometimes it would stick between gears. Not fun. I love my Tri-ax, its got a much shorter sweep, its adjustable, much stronger return spring, its just worth every penny spent. Definetly get it- it'll make your car feel more like a race car.

    99-04 Pedal mod

I used a little 87 cent nylon spacer found at Lowes, along with a 2 dollar bag of mini hose-clamps. First i used the full length of the spacer, a little over an inch. THis took up all the slack but the gas was too high over the brake under trail braking, so I cut the spacer roughl in half, and...

    Looking for a Tri-ax install "how-to" - Post links

He's pretty close, although I would make a few changes.. -You'll need 8, 10 and 13mm sockets along with a ratchet and extension. -The plastic shift bezel pops out in three locations, the 10, 2 and 6 o'clock postions if you're looking directly down at the shift knob. use a small bladed...

    99 cobra drivers in here!

^^ those would be my best three guesses as well. #1 and #2 can be fixed easily, #3 is pretty much just a 'life-with-it' syndrome of our cars. You can buy a IRs mem brace from Kenny Brown, that might help things out, although I've never used one before.

When I drive too long at 4-5000 RPM, My 4V...

Dang this thread progresses fast! I replied before I read the entire way through it. My bad, no harm, no foul. I hope you can sorta straighten the problem all out man. it does sound like perhaps the IMRC is gunked up like wa earlier mentioned.
