all i did was get a computer, maf meter and maf plug with a good length of wire still attached(i just yanked it out of the firewall from the parts car...)

just get both, its great....i have an 86LX 2.3l, i didnt think it was all that when i used to drive it, but now i have love for the 4eyes, i just need money to get down into it, maybe do a turbocoupe dealy with it....
i got me a 94 cobra lower, 96 explorer upper...along with a bit more high end, i lost some low end....and its ported for 70mm and the runners are nice and smooth
i have an 96 explorer upper, got a nice high end SOTP kick but low end "hop" went down a little....
i paid $100 for the upper (thanks Rio5.0) which had the runners nice and smooth..
i just pulled the tranny out of my car, and its still sitting high on jackstands.... when i broke the driveshaft bolts loose i just stuck a scewdriver in the ujoint and put the handle against the chassis and cranked it with a prybar, rotate and repeat.... easy even with the tranny out of gear so...
