    Trunk lift conversion

I thought about this once, but didn't have the chance to experiment, it would be great if its turns out easy. I also hate that when I open the trunk the lid goes up very fast, but maybe thats an adjustment issue. Keep us posted with your progress

    Floor Insulation & Sound Deadening

I forgot to tell you that I did use Fatmat, and you definitively can feel the difference. I bought 50 ft which where enough for the floor, firewall, kickpanels, and quarter panels. Here is a pic from the installation:

    Floor Insulation & Sound Deadening

You need to put Dynamat first, since you have to adhere the adhesive back directly to the metal floor to have a better noise and heat cancellation. Then you could just lay down the rubber mats on. 3M is a good choice, I bought one that is used for craft projects and it has worked good.

    Which fuse in modern stereo?

You are right, in fact am taking an electric circuit analysis class, now I can apply that to real life :D The stereo has a max output of 50W x 4, so at most would be 200W, that divided by the voltage which is 12V, results in 16.667, so I need a 16 Amp fuse?

    Which fuse in modern stereo?

Im about to finish the installation of a new DIN unit in my mustang, and I need to know the amperage of the fuse that I need to run from the ignition ACC terminal to the main lead of the stereo; I read that stock radios used a 7 Amp fuse, so I guess the one I need should be of higher? I know...

    In-dash speakers

I can made them fit, but I cant center them in the speaker opening. When I was working on this I found that those bolts can be removed, I thought they were welded; now I can try something else :D Another quick audio question, when you cut the radio bezel (67 model without console) to fit a...

    In-dash speakers

Im trying to figure how to mount two 4" speakers where the factory speaker was located. I have seen a pair of pics of this, but I measure the distance between the bolts that will hold the speakers and doesnt seems that they could fit well (one next to another). For the guys who have done it...

Anyone have or heard of B-Quiet insulation?

Definetively, for the price its a great insulation. In fact, if I remember correctly, after reading the website Garner already posted, Fatmat was a little more durable than B-quiet

What new wheels and tires should I get?

I think 302 Coupe didnt meant to be unfriendly, but indeed there is a huge amount on info already discussed in previous threads that could help you out, if after reading some or all of the posts you have a doubt you are in your right to ask. I wish I could help you out but I have stockish...

Thanks for the explanation. Yep, when open up the heater box I realized that a lot of seals are dried out and torn, I just ordered a seal and foam kit, everything else looks to be in working condition.

    Heater switch connector and resistor

Thanks Tim, I would try to find that switch harness and knob but until then I will connect it that way. Another thing I dont understand quite well is how does the air is delivered inside? I have seen some hoses and ducts but they say they are for defrosting, are those the ones that move the...

    Heater switch connector and resistor

Hey Im putting in the heater box in the car and I have 2 questions (the PO take it out and drop it in the trunk when I bought the car last year). The heater controls doesnt seem to have a wiring connector, is there a way to make it work with out it?; for example putting an aftermarket 3...

You guys with '69-'70, have you seen Year One's new guage cluster?

It would be nice to see pics of that panel with the carbon fiber laminate. Today I saw a cheap peel up paper imitating carbon fiber in a local autozone and I thought it can make a classic interior stand up really nice, the thing I dont know is which areas would look good covered.
