    well since i already have the intake i'm gonna take my Typhoon intake and have it hogged out, which i'm sure will flow awsome. now i've heard holley systemax II would be a good intake for that or RPM II or trickflow R series.

    hey pricha, what clutch are you running with that? and also don't you need the yoke upgrade and heavy duty crossmember or not? and one more question, on your AFR's are you doing a spring upgrade? man looks like i need to spend more then i thought.

    so you reused the stock headgaskets? or are these aftermarket headgaskets? either way reusing them is somthing i definately would not do. just sounds like you blew out the compression ring between the cylinders, if you had compression that bad and it was rings, they would almost have to be gone...

    well here's the deal, i'm building a 351. AFR 205's, 9:1 compression, hogged out Typhoon intake, tfs stg 2 cam ect.... so anyways i was just wondering how long you think the stock trans will last? i'm thinkin with all the torque it won't be too long. and here's somthing else i need to consider...

    Strange whissle (engine guys get in here)

    well i've noticed anything bigger then a 65mm TB whistle pretty loud. i made my own 3 1/2 inch piping all the way to my 80mm Pro-M. and it amplified it alot. kinda echos through the tubing. and i have an accufab which is a darn good throttle body so I know it's not that.

    DITTO. and if your just slapping stock AOD's in there with decent mods in the engine don't expect it to hold up well. now if you have a non-lock up style stall converter and shift kit it will help your tranny out alot being it won't jolt the input shaft when it goes into lockup in 3rd gear...

    umm yeah AODs are real junk being Lentech can make them a take 700hp all day long, sounds like real crap to me. all it takes is some tweaking to it and they are a good tranny.

    well somthing you could try would be, be in third and get to where you RPM band is really strong, say 4500, then hit the brakes and the gas real hard and see if the rpms go down when you start braking hard or are consistent with MPH being your brakes might not hold the power.

    umm please god stay away from proffesional products TBs. i had a 70mm because i though they were slick because of the slide plate for the TPS. so i stuck it on there. first thing i noticed was the ball that the cable end goes on was too big so it was a very very hard pedal with some sticking...
