    You may want to check into the carb's manufacturer's suggestions. If not, check out: Lokar I think we all would need to know the rest of your set up to recommend a cam and rockers. And you most likely cant go wrong and call a reputable cam company and get their recommendations.

    Depends on which fan controller you went with, but most kits are the positive side to trigger the fan on. If you didnt go with a fan controller, I highly recommend one, I've had good results so far with the Flex-a-lite electronic ones.

    How is the tune? Ignition timing, A/F mixture? When you did the heads, did you put on the head gaskets correctly? I always check and verify the themostats for operation before installing them, you would be surprised how much of them dont work at the stated themps (even name brand ones too).

    have you tried the newer tensioner pulleys? they have no lip/ridge on the pulley, so it would be easier to get the shorter belt on.
