    Do you guys think this new gen Mustang will also be the Mustang for 2014? That would make it the 5th year of production. I'm loving the GT500 but I want a 50th anniversary Mustang more than anything. Just curious what you guys think Ford could cook up for the 50th anniversary year.

    Just my .02 here. The car Ford should make is a Cobra R, not a Cobra. 10 years is too long. The GT500 is the Cobra now, face it. Doesn't mean they can't do an R. I know people will moan because it wouldn't be the baddest of the bad, but the Shelby deal seems to have effectively ended those...

    I saw the first '10 GT500 was to be auctioned off as is the norm for the first production car in a redesign or new model for enthusiasts. I missed what it ended up going for as I saw on another site it was supposed to be up on the block today. Anyone catch it or the first '10 GT?

    I was thinking it was a render as well. That's my only explanation of it. As soon as a friend in my local Mustang club saw that GB GT500, he sold his '03 650 rwhp terminator with 6000 original miles to order one. He was going to wait for the '11 GT in GB but just loved the GT500 too much.

    I thought the HID's were already standard on the GT500 and were optional as of 2007 MY on the GT. Maybe I missed something.
