    my buddy has g tech pro. with it, i can avg. 13.5-13.7 all day long. best @ track thus far is 14.04 (as of this weekend) is it road conditions vs track conditions or is it just off by .5 sec? not sure. fun toy anyways. glad he bought one. :D

    u could prob. do it yourself; with a guide off the net; but if u aren't familar with a job like that, i wouldn't even consider it. unlike alot of bolt-ons, if u don't get everything just right (backlash, etc.) u wil have major probs. with gear whine or worse. install shouldn't cost any more...

    if u have made it this long with the stock goodyears, i wouldn't worry about getting summer only tires. any tire u get will be better than those. not gonna find a tire thats good in snow & at the track. well, maybe that set jonjon has. :D

    Idle jumps up randomly when I come to a stop

    if it only does it when the compressor is running, it is normal. mine does as well. my guess is the extra load on the engine causes it to 'hunt' for the right idle.
