    Launching??

    i'll tell u how not to launch. around 3 grand and dump the clutch. thats good for about a 16 sec run. my best run was almost 1000-1200 rpm easing the clutch out. still learning though. it's tough.

    ok this is strange. watching the video of my runs @ the track & in one there is water coming out of my exhaust. not like gallons, but not just a drip either. what in the h#ll does that mean? anyone even heard of this? please help, i'm starting to panic. i hope its water, & not gas. :D

    Difficult time searching for tire sizes for 17 x 9, 17 x 10.5s wheels!

    i would think 255 or 265 would be about right for 17x9- fronts. 245 (what i used to run on the front) is too narrow, lip of rim sticks out. 275 (what i'm running now) fits better, but causes some tracking problems.

    maybe its the liquor, but i think: this needs to be in talk, or better yet, in sound shine, obsessive/compulsive disorder. i really haven't noticed this ever happening. its just a shoe, what kind of mark could it leave that couldn't be wiped off with a rag? some possible solutions...

    congrats. my ses light came on within days also. i hate mils. finally, after a year, i gave up and got an sct chip from modular depot. don't know of any other real way to keep it off for good. what kind of mils u got? mine were from dallas mustang. they sucked.

    what do i need to put a shift lift into a 01 gt? the pep tach adapter, a light, and what else? does anyone even use these things? how hard is it to install? where do u put the adapter?
