    Lets hope those are a little off. A car with 300 hp with 315 lb ft of torque SHOULD at least do 0-60 in 5.2 or faster and lets hope the quarter numbers are off too because it should do it quicker then 13.9 :rolleyes:

    We ARE driving Evo 8's with a few minor adjustments made for the US and the strict emissions laws. Every car they sell in the US and Japan are different due to different laws but it is still consider the same car :rolleyes:

    Wrong. The 03 that has been on sale since last year in the US IS the Evo 8. As far as the Mustang being faster, we just have to wait and see when it hits the street if it can beat 0-60 in 5 seconds and run the quarter in the low 13's.

    hehe, the 04 Evos come out this fall and yes, it should be an 05. Mitsubishi is a little off right now and may be going out of business soon so who know what will happen but I think the 05 GT is a bit over-priced I think $23-$25K would be reasonable but a starting price of $26K is a bit much.

    How is the GT going to be $5K less then an Evo? Evos sell for $28K and you can get em even cheaper now. The prices I have seen for the GT start at $26K bone stock which sucks if you ask me.     With the wing of course. Its functional guys, it helps stabalize the car at high speeds, its not like they just decided to throw a wing on the back for the hell of it.

    Not really. That MR edition Evo does 0-60 in 4.2 seconds and runs the quarters in the 12's all stock, I think that is right at or a bit better then the current Cobra. Evos are not meant to be dragsters anyways, its the road courses with the twisties that they excel and can beat a ton of more...

    Yes, but I am saying that its the same engine. Someone said that its stock 271 hp (which is underrrated by the way) was almost maxed out which is not the case. As I said, that engine can handle a ton of mods.
